Nicely rested. Electric blanket on the double bed would have been welcome. Good heaters for the winter nights are needed. The heaters that were there are not suitable. Lapa is a lovely sun-filled room, very nice to visit and relax there. Very safe, walked far and appreciated the unspoilt nature.
If you like a secluded destination to yourself, this is the perfect place.
Ronderus is a place where one should not just sleep over. One should spend at least a weekend or longer there. The only challenge is the road to get there. Do not travel there with a low running vehicle!
Wet conditions can cause problems for people with low vehicles and no experience on slippery, wet dirt roads. The road between Memel and Verkykerskop is in poor condition. Reaching Ronderus from the Vrede-Memelpad is better, but there are several turf humps that severely test one's driving skills.
Very peaceful and quiet.

Please note, there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation and it is suggested that a bakkie or big car is used. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.The rondavel is situated 30 m from the lapa.
