Nice stay! The first thing that hits you when you get out of your car at Rooibank is the silence. The tranquility. The house and all facilities are beautiful and very neat and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped - anyone who cooks' dream. The host is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at Rooibank and we will definitely be back for another visit at Rooibank!

Had a wonderful stay. Unique experience on a tree farm in Dinokeng. Chalets very clean, well equipped. Aircon and swimming pool were a pleasure. Great place if you don't want too many people around you. Excellent value for money.
Large and comfortable farmhouse with sleeping space for many. Beautiful garden and pool. We also explored the farm with a nice walk. Rudy received us warmly and was always available. Will definitely go back again.

Next time, I will book for a week. The game drive that we booked at Dinokeng events was spectacular as well. The only member of the Big 5 we didn't see was a leopard, but the 3 cheetahs made up for that.

Peace for one's soul, peaceful and relaxing. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We booked the 2 houses for our large group of 12. Both houses were excellently equipped to handle the group. From the kitchen, dining areas, braai areas, bedrooms and bathrooms everything was nice, clean and tidy. We would go so far as to say that this is one of the best discussions we have ever done on the website. Had a wonderful weekend with family who came to visit from Kanda. Can highly recommend Rooibank.

Rooibank's Eden's Den was beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The owners were very helpful and friendly. The unit was large and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed and slept wonderfully warm. We will definitely come again and can highly recommend Eden's Den.

Peaceful atmosphere on a working farm within Dinokeng. Comfortable for many people and options to relax. Also very convenient for wildlife watching/viewing with options nearby for dining/shopping etc. Even ideal for a weekend getaway. Been to Rooibank a few times and will go again.
We drove around the park for a total of around 8 hours over the course of the weekend, but didn't see much game. Beautiful giraffe and buck, but none of the Big 5. We saw 4 black back jackals early in the morning which was nice but the game viewing itself was a little disappointing, but absolutely the luck of the draw and nothing to do with the quality of the accommodation.

House has an African bush theme, beautifully furnished, with big verandah with folding sliding doors, overlooking pool and braai area. All windows have mesh, bedrooms are upstairs - beds are very comfy. There is one bath, 3 showers and 4 toilets. House is surrounded by a beautiful, lush garden - green lawns and shady trees. Was very peaceful and quiet and heard jackals and hyena in the distance in evening. Would strongly recommend this accommodation in Dinokeng Game Reserve.

All the rooms are well equiped just remember to take a broom/mop for it is sand world. Big. Kitchen has more cutlery than usual. The people (Dries) are really doing good.
Very good service, tidy house and it is extremely safe for children to ride bicycles. Good value for money! The only thing missing is a swimming pool at Die Bosveld Huis.

From the start when we met Helene and Dries we felt at home. We fell in love with Oelof, the farm doggy with the best smile ever. Our Pitbull was at home the minute he arrived. The place was exceptionally clean and very private. We had a great long walks, kids enjoyed the pool and the upstairs bedrooms. More than value for money. We enjoyed it so much, we nearly stayed the entire week if it wasn't for work.
Dries, the caretaker, was very pleasant. Everything was nice, clean and tidy, had everything we needed.
We will definitely return to this venue for a breakaway weekend. Only an hour's drive from Pretoria. Beautiful farm and pet-friendly. Our German Pointer enjoyed her stay just as much as we did.
We stayed in the bushveld house. This is fully equipped and wheelchair friendly. One massive kitchen, 4 rooms. It was advertised with 3 bathrooms but only had 2. There is a lovely veranda to relax under. The veranda doesn't have a view of the reserve's fence unless you walk around the side of the house. The swimming pool is a bit out of the way. Would have been lovely if the bushveld house had a pool. Otherwise a lovely stay. Dries was there to assist with any queries.
We were at home in the two chalets. It was super neat and clean. Quiet environment and friendly help from staff.

Only the pool was close to another bungalow which invaded the privacy of those people who were dining outside while we were swimming.
The only fault - we would have preferred to have our own small private braai. We had to walk past our neighbors to get to the braai, and it was literally over their veranda. But otherwise, well equipped, and very nice.
We stayed in the chalet, adjacent to the farm manager's chalet (the description of chalet is very misleading). If our chalet was separate from the farm manager, with a view and not staring into the trees it would have been perfect. According to the advertisement there is a boma, the boma is at the other units and not at the chalet. We walked to Eden Glen and also to the other place. And both those places are beautiful and the location is right. The location of the chalet was disappointing. I requested if we could move to another spot, but both the other spots were full. We couldn't have used the pool because there were people in the other unit and the pool is adjacent to that unit. The farm manager was very helpful and friendly. I mentioned to him that I was disappointed with the location of the unit, it was not private at all. The water pipe from the unit next door was on the porch of our chalet. I was under the impression according to the ad that we were in the unit with a view and private and that was not the case at all. The unit inside was clean and tidy and there was everything in the place that one needs.
You are surrounded by beautiful scenery made up of lush gardens, to the orchards which surround you. Great getaway for kids of all ages The staff are very friendly and happy to assist with any need. Will definitely be returning.

Quiet and peaceful weekend with children and grandchildren. The house is very well furnished with everything needed. The fact that I could take my four-legged child with me counted a lot. He even made friends with the friendly dog Olie of the owners. We will definitely visit there again.

Quiet, beautiful animals seen. Garden and braai places very nice, comfortable and tidy, basically furnished. Refrigerator "noises" at night. Maybe consider new beds and linens. Really enjoyed the break away.

We were 8 people looking for a peaceful atmosphere with friendly people and that's exactly what we got.
Very neat and comfortable. Large reception area. Just short of aircon or fans (in the summer heat). Mosquitoes a problem but that's part of farm life. Have a nice time. Will visit again.
Our weekend at rooibank was wonderful. A relaxing atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely visit again. The only criticism would be that bath towels are not provided (which are normally included at other places at the same price). The kitchen is well equipped, I would suggest that a cloth be placed in the kitchen as well as a pair of scissors in the drawer.
The accommodation is very basic. No drying rack for dishes, no teapot or milk jug, plates chipped. No easy chairs, if you want to watch TV you have to sit on a dining room chair! No cleaning service (it was Easter weekend, but not even rubbish was removed or we were shown where the rubbish bins were). Bathroom sliding door is very difficult to open and close. A steel frame was planed and welded on Good Friday and Saturday at the workshop 100 m from our chalet. I was not very pleased with the stay.
Our group of friends (and my woof kids) thoroughly enjoyed Rooibank. It is the ideal place to come and rest and do as little as possible for as long as possible. There is a lovely, peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, a nice swimming pool to cool off in and nice paths to go for a walk. The service was friendly and excellent. Will definitely visit here again!
