15 guests' feedbackThe little house is completely "off grid". The location is also quite right. We could take so many photos of the moon and stars. The sunrise was also very special. We stood outside and toasted. There is little to no road noise while we stayed there. This is one of the few places I would like to stay again. Maybe longer next time.
We needed a safe, quiet place to sleep at short notice. We didn't arrive until 3 o'clock in the night and were allowed to leave undisturbed later. The African mask and the Buddha in the kitchen are the only disturbing elements for us. Will definitely return for a 3/4 day visit. Will Hostess then ask to please remove the 2 elements, if possible. Lovely biscuit.
Our hostess made sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay.
Is a cozy little house with all the basic amenities.
What a big surprise when we unlocked that door. The most beautiful house in the plains of the Karoo. Everything we needed was there. The tastiest barbecue fires under the brightest stars. We will visit again Ilda, thank you very much.

We had a great time at Rooidam and are so grateful for nature's simplicity and silence. The unit is well equipped and the bag of wood was very welcome. The Vaalboskerm was our favorite place to visit. Thank you very much Ilda!

Was a bit timid but thoroughly enjoyed the stay, unique experience for children, nice lamb rib roast, pre-arranged with owners. And to top it all off, a big storm and lots of rain.
Lovely 2 bedroomed cottage. Beat as a pin. Great Lapa for a braai and to watch the beautiful sunsets. Will definitely be back!
I will definitely return, just far away from the main road to be easily accessible and perfectly situated. Loved the full ice trays!

What a little gem in the middle of nowhere! The cottage is beautiful inside with everything your heart desires. The carbon was a big plus in the cold weather. Ilda the owner really went the extra mile. We even got the most delicious home-baked biscuits. This place is a must for any travel companion.
