Karen is calm by nature and it rubs off in her home. It's not modern, but everything you need is there.
The place to stay if you are only 2 or less and get along well with people and animals. We easily resonated with the hostess and will stay there again. Garden paths and porch with view, walking distance to everything in town.

I had such a lovely stay here. Even though I arrived really late, the host was welcoming. She went as far as to message me while I was on the road and asked if I was okay or needed any help.
A delightful stay made even more special by Karen, the owner, who made her home open to us. We will return.
Our host was excellent and helped us make a dinner reservation. She messaged us early in the day to confirm our arrival time and was a huge help in making our stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed visiting the waterfall in Meiringspoort the next morning.

In spite of the lack of water at that point, we still enjoyed the stay. Stars in the dark night sky. the beautiful mountains you look upon whilst relaxing on the stoep and a flavourful breakfast with warm, fresh home-baked bread. Would definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the room in the authentic Capetonian little house. Enjoyed ourselves on the back veranda while looking at the view of the Swartberg Mountains. True Capetonian hospitality. Beautiful little town. Will definitely be returning.
