After a long day's drive from Mozambique we arrived at this beautiful oasis. The service was friendly and the hospitality overwhelming, it made us feel right at home. The garden is beautiful, the rooms beautifully clean and the next day's breakfast was top notch. A real gem in Pongola. Thank you Gerdiri, we will definitely visit again.
Rooms are a good size and very private as no other room overlooks yours. We could choose the time we wanted breakfast which was delicious. Everybody was very friendly, even the other guests. Will go back there if travelling north again.

We stayed at Rosegarden on our way to Mozambique for the holiday, and it made for a good start. We came in late in the evening and there was no problem with that. The room is very neat and has everything you need - air-con, DStv, large shower, small fridge and a kettle. The breakfast was fantastic, better than you can get at most restaurants, and they will bend over backwards to try and fulfill any request. The garden is also beautiful, and is given just outside Pongola, along the main road. Excellent value for money.

The signs (directions) on the road are just a little confusing. There are two signs with the same name. The place is very neat and quiet and there is no noise. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff will be happy to help if there is a problem. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel at home, thank you we will definitely use Rose Garden again.

Good value for money. Something for dinner would be good though as it's just too far out of Pongola. Delicious breakfast. The distances can be indicated more clearly please. Linen (sheet) nice and clean, but a little battered.
It was very comfortable and the garden is lovely. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of noise early in the morning from contractors.
The garden has its own special language. The accommodation was nice and convenient and very neat. The meals can be described with one word: great. We took many photos and won't forget this guesthouse easily.

It's never nice to come back from vacation, but spending the night in Rosegarden Guest House after a wonderful sea vacation felt like we could relax for the last time. We immediately felt safe and Elsabe warmly welcomed us. The rooms are well equipped with air conditioning, neat bathrooms and extremely comfortable beds. A real peasant breakfast was of course one of the highlights, and prepared us well for the way home!
Rosegarden is what you need to get a nice break from your long trip. My family was happy, Elsabe was very accommodating and friendly. We also enjoyed the breakfast as well. We plan to do it again.
Reception was very professional, staff very helpful well trained. Accommodation very neat and clean. They have thought of all the little things: all the braai areas have already been neatly laid with wood. The abundance of water gives a peaceful atmosphere, the farm is beautifully situated and neatly maintained. There are many romantic places to have a picnic. Was able to sleep well. Very quiet and peaceful on the farm.
We were a group of 16 family and friends. Very definitely worth it as an overnight stop. Breakfast is definitely recommended.
We spent the night here on our way to Mozambique. The owner is very friendly and polite. The gardens and vegetation were especially very beautiful.
It is an old barn converted into rooms with old furniture and very warm. The air conditioning's capacity is too small and does not cool the room. The photo is misleading! Rooms have a porch in front and the roof can be painted.

It's a nice, quite place and we enjoyed our visit ... though it was too short.
Will use it again and will advise anyone to use it it was well worth the money.
We requested to leave 1 vehicle with them, and also decided at the last minute to leave early before breakfast. Not only were there food parcels packed for our early breakfast along the way, but also a note wishing us a safe journey. Rosegarden will definitely see me again!
The facilities and service at Rosegarden were perfect. It's really better in that area to stay on a farm than in town. I will definitely stay there again if I have to spend the night in the area.
