We have three units: The Rosewood Cottage is a 4-6 sleeper cottage and consists of a bathroom and an open-plan lounge and kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second contains 2 single beds. The bathroom is a full bathroom with a bath and shower. The cottage has its own private entrance and braai facilities. It has Netflix, Wi-Fi and secure undercover parking is provided for guests.
Rosewood Studio is an upstairs apartment and is a 2-4 sleeper. It comprises a double bed and a single day bed, together with a lounge, bathroom with a shower only, and a kitchenette. It has Netflix, Wi-Fi and secure parking. There are no braai facilities.
Rosewood Annex is a perfect unit for a business person or a couple. It is a ground-floor unit consisting of a room with a double bed, a seating area, a good-sized bathroom with a double shower, a kitchenette, Netflix, Wi-Fi and an outside seating and braai area.
Rosewood is within walking distance of the Gonubie Golf course and a 5-minute drive to the idyllic Gonubie Beach and shopping mall. It is a 20-minute drive to all the facilities in East London including shopping malls, golf courses, restaurants and a 30-minute drive to game farms and the beautiful East Coast Resorts.

The Studio is situated on the first floor and is spacious and well appointed. The main bed is king-size and the couch converts to two singles, ideal for a couple or family. The marble topped kitchen has a full-sized stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, plenty of pots, ovenware, crockery and cutlery - even a tea-pot. The lounge area is comfortable and has a TV with DStv. The WiFi connection is good. There is secure parking under a car port directly below the studio. From the entrance door, the sea can be seen across the golf course. The suburb is quiet, with all amenities just a short drive away.
The cottage is very neat and beautifully furnished. We could even take our dogs with us. Fantastic for a peaceful holiday. The cleaner who came to clean daily was also very friendly and tidy. Many thanks to Sharon and her team. I can highly recommend Rosewood Self-Catering.

We had a pleasant stay. We did not notice that the fridge was set at zero so our milk turned sour overnight. One bed lamp was faulty, but we found another in the cupboard. I slept on the couch in the studio and had nowhere to put my bed lamp or anything else. These are minor inconveniences that can be rectified quite easily.
Bitterly cold in winter. No heater or air conditioner. Woke up to the smell of cabbage on the stove. Notes on the wall indicating that you please no lights should be left on when you go out, but to my surprise the lights had been switched on by someone in our absence.
Was delicious. Could only have had more clean towels that could be routed. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We made use of the Rosewood Studio. It is a very neat, clean, modern unit. Perfect for the two of us. It is possible for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids to sleep here comfortably. The owners are so friendly and helpful. A special thank you is due Sharon who made sure that a few items I had forgotten to pack were couriered to us afterwards. We'll really miss the beautiful dogs who came to greet us tails-a-wagging every time we stepped outside. Would definitely stay at Rosewood again.

Service of the room was done round the clock daily and extra was done every day. As soon as we got home we were welcomed with a clean, tidy room. What I can suggest is that some extra things for children could be placed in the room (plastic glasses and bowls, scissors, etc.) would help.

Excellent accommodation and very neat.
The decor is very nice and everything is neat and clean and very spacious. Was perfect for us. Although we really enjoyed it and I couldn't have asked for better and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, there was only one thing that caught us off guard and that was that she came to lock the second bedroom after we checked in. It just made us feel quite uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was just great.
Nice stay, room was just warm. Would suggest an air conditioner. It is only necessary to ensure that guests are seated in the room they have booked.
