We were warmly welcomed and taken to our comfortable and very clean room. Because of an early start the next morning, breakfast was made available at an early hour. Thank you for accommodating the cyclists by getting up early to do breakfast. Marinda had also picked up in the booking that we were husband and wife and offered to swap our room for a bigger one. Thank you, Marinda, for your thoughtfulness.
Travelled for a MTB event and needed a night's accommodation. Was perfect for what I needed.

Had a great stay there. Very clean and tidy. Started work early in the morning and the owner went out of her way to make sure we still got our breakfast in a lunchbox to work. If I go to Vredendal again one day, I will definitely stay there again.

Book room 6 then you park under cover and right in front of your room. Step in and get everything you need. Neat and back to back and everything worked. This was hands down the cleanest, most comfortable and nicest place we've ever stayed (and we've been on long drives). The breakfast was delicious and the hostess extremely friendly and helpful. We can recommend this place without reservation.

The host was extremely accommodating. I came a couple of hours early and she allowed me to book in early. The room was big and spacious. The bathrooms, towels and linen were clean. No dust or fluff whatsoever on the linen. I left before breakfast and yet she prepared a takeaway breakfast for me.

Enjoyed the lounge, bar area with availability of glasses to consume own drinks, pool table, braai area and fireplace. We would, however, have appreciated the availability of wood for the fireplace (to purchase) on a cold evening instead of having to use own supplies unplanned for.

Marinda's hospitality has been some of the best I've encountered. Other than that the rooms were neat and convenient, breakfast was always delicious and the other facilities on the property ensured that we had a pleasant stay.
Outside accommodation was next to the road, noisy traffic, bad for people who wanted to get some sleep. Probably had something to do with the direction of the wind that night. Otherwise we really enjoyed the one night there. Even a bottle of wine in the fridge and real roses in the room.
