Just a wonderful experience, we were welcomed by such warm and friendly staff/owner. We immediately felt at home. Beautiful setting and the rooms have everything you could need. Our little one roamed around safely on the property. Neat, tidy and will definitely be staying there again and recommending to everyone.
The property was large and lush, perfect for my dog to stretch his legs. The host was very accommodating as well.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and stocked with kitchen essentials. A secure, covered patio provided an outdoor sitting/eating area even during a downpour. Access to the freeway was easy and convenient for an overnight stopover.
The owner was willing to wait for me until very late and was still very considerate and friendly.
Overnight stay en route to Cpt, 2 km from the N1. Very clean with all the necessities, and some extras, DStv, comfy bed, electric blanket, good WiFi and great water pressure.
Stay was great. Constructive comments would be: additional cutlery, bowls etc. for a small family to eat. Aircon would be great.

If you are a light sleeper, the Rus & Rose is not for you. N1's traffic is clearly audible throughout the night. No decent shows on TV to watch. Channels are extremely limited.
No. The surroundings and the yard, as well as the amount of burglar bars, forced us not to get out of our vehicle. Left immediately!
Rus & Rose deserves more than 5 stars. It is by far the most beautiful guesthouse we've ever stayed over at. We booked very late notice but were spoiled as if they had months to prepare for our stay! Our animals even got their own biscuits, poop scoops and bags. There was sherry, chocolates, juices and water, the attention to detail was far beyond what we expected. The room was so beautifully decorated. I would pay triple to stay over there again, what value for money!

Hein bent over backwards to accommodate our child (small dog). Definitely a good stop over! Very clean, tidy and everything you need! Very hospitable!

I had a nice stay, just overslept and left early in the morning. It was nice to be able to cool off in the farm pond which is now a swimming pool.
Because of a storm the night before there was no electricity. The circumstances were a bit difficult, but it was still fun.
Everything you need to grill meat yourself! Nice and close to the highway, you don't have to drive all over Bloemfontein.
