The main house comprises of 3 bedrooms; a main bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, and two bedrooms furnished with two single beds in each. There is a bathroom fitted with a walk in shower, toilet and washbasin, and an extra toilet and washbasin, there is also an outside shower that can only be accessed from the outside. The house has an open-plan lounge and dining area with a well equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, oven and stove, which opens up to an outside braai area that overlooks the ocean. There is basic laundry facilities, an outdoor braai and a Weber, as well as secure storage for bicycles and surfboards in the laundry area.

18 guests' feedbackThis is a cozy (rather than posh) holiday home, with wooden floors, superbly comfortable beds, a nice sunken leather sofa and a large dining table. The outdoor patio is next to the braai and overlooks the sea.

Rus-en-Roes is nice out of the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to the beach to just walk. It's the 2nd time we stay here and it will definitely be our choice for the future.
Felt very welcome and had a great time. House is very well equipped for most of your needs. Special things like fire lighters, board games and binoculars make you feel right at home. Thanks Niekie!
It's an old house, real beach house, not a glamorous palace, but good value for money.
We were under the impression that there was access to the beach but that didn't bother us in the end because just sitting on the verandah and watching the whales and dolphins more than made up for that! The one issue we did have was that there is no water pressure in the shower, just trickles, so that got to us. If you could sort this out, it'll be great then!
The house's view is breathtaking and I could sit on the nice porch for hours and just watch and listen to the waves. The house itself is so right to my taste with its antique furniture and wooden floors, it gives a particularly warm and homely atmosphere and the beds are so comfortable. The house is also nicely closed and secured, I could relax knowing that my 2 small children could not slip out somewhere without my knowledge. You will definitely see us again!
Outstanding! We couldn't have asked for better. Rus-en-Roes is a nice family house, with enough space so that it doesn't feel like you're falling over each other. The house is particularly well equipped and has an unsurpassed view of the sea. Although the house is not by the beach, we could easily walk to the beach. We will definitely book here again.
Rus-en-Roes has a breathtaking view of the sea. Our family had a great time and slept well. Thank you very much - we would love to visit Buffelsbaai and Rus-en-Roes again.
Only problem is with having to accommodate 6 people, with only one shower.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Rus en Roes, very quiet and peaceful. Very nice view of the western beach and sunsets. Good variety of bird life in Panorama street and porch. Clean, tidy and well equipped.
Owner constantly communicated with us regarding arrangements and especially load shedding which we really appreciated. It's a beautiful town and friendly people and had a great time.
Excellent value and a view of a thousand. Especially the bedding is of the highest quality!
Just remember to buy the bottled water. Small shop and restaurant in the area close at 18:00.
Unforgettable views of the ocean and playing dolphins. The place is extremely well-equipped with everything one would want and especially with notably lovely mattresses. We were welcomed with beautiful, fresh flowers, melt-in-the-mouth rusks and all the other things that show that the owner makes an effort to make the stay an unforgettable experience. Wish there was time to explore the bookshelf too! Thanks again for your kindness and help. Thanks also to Pop for cleaning up after our departure.
