Lovely place to just relax and get away from the city life. Will definitely go again.
The unit had everything we required and its location was perfect for us. If the fynbos on the Nature Reserve edge of the property boundary could be trimmed in a "natural" way, it would allow the most amazing view from the patio. An alternative would be a platform in the North East boundary. Herman was an amazing person to have as a host.
It was just a pleasure to stay there. It was clean and tidy and there were even flowers on the table as a welcome gift. Thank you very much for the fantastic 4 days, which we were able to make use of your hospitality.

The place is very well located.
We arrived a bit late, but Herman waited on us and even called to make sure we on the right track. Rusks for morning coffee as well as sweets in each room. The apartment has everything that you might need, you don't have to travel with extra towels and blankets, etc. or cleaning material. Before you book, make sure you comfortable with the owners living on the premises. Overall a fantastic week end.

The unit is very nice and spacious, with board games and books. Nice lawn for children to play. The unit is extremely neat, and very well equipped. Owner very friendly, and communication very good. Really pleasant experience!
Herman was the perfect host! Accommodation was spotless, and great touches were provided. We had complete privacy at all times. We would definitely recommend this, and we will be back!.
We used the accommodation as a base to explore the area. We had a great time and spent the minimum at the place itself. Our host was helpful and the place was very tidy and exactly what we wanted in terms of accommodation.
Herman, the owner, was always available to provide useful tips and advice. He was never in the way and always respectful of our privacy. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed braaing every night. We found the braai practical and it worked well for us. Herman suggested a local tyre company in Gansbaai for good wood at a reasonable price. And Ruth at the local laundry in Gansbaai. Overall a very pleasant stay, and recommended.
Peace and Peace is exactly what its name says. We had a great time and the view is incredible. Herman is friendly and has his guests' interests and privacy at heart. The unit is beautifully decorated with flowers, paintings, luxury amenities and we were treated to sweets and biscuits. Highly recommended!
4 single beds with no option of joining two. We were pleased to find light cotton blankets instead of only a duvet. No towels rails.
Very disappointed. Almost no view due to vegetation. Owner also stated upon inquiry that you have secure parking behind an automatic gate. Owner leaves gate open all day and only closes in the evening and it is not automatic. Alarm and beams work together with the main house, so you don't have to set it yourself, because owner sets it in the evening. Apartment well furnished and comfortable.
The only comment is that I would wish that the neighbours would cut more of their bushes so we would have had more view. I love an open sea view and it would have been much better when both neighbours would have trimmed their hedges more.
Basically we were working on a body of work that will be used for our exhibition. We needed a beautiful location to create the work, hence our stay.
Our weekend was absolutely amazing. The fresh home-baked rusks is absolutely amazing. The owner of the property has not once intrude into our private space! Everything is spotless and so neat and clean. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to get away and take this place as your leap of faith, and get new perspectives every morning as you wake up and hear the birds chirping and the sound of the sea as you sit on the patio and enjoy freshly brewed coffee with the amazing rusks provided.
The accommodation had two rooms catering for four people. The kitchen was very well equipped with a supply of tea and coffee and rusks. Nothing was wanting. There was a separate dining room and a lounge with TV which had the full bouquet of programmes. The unit was very clean and the beds very comfortable. One room with a sea view.
The place was well furnished and comfortable. Everything is there that you will need, and the surroundings are beautiful. Also not too far from town if you need something quickly.

Very clean, very tidy, freshly baked biscuits, great chocolate treats in all the rooms, very well equipped kitchen and very helpful owners - we had a lovely break.
From the time we were welcomed, it just felt right. The venue is on the lower level of the main house and overlooks the lower garden and De Kelders Bay. Just sitting outside in the porch and watching the water is so relaxing. The house is very spacious. Both rooms are well equipped with good beds and lovely crisp and fresh bedding and the chocolates was definitely a winner. The bathrooms is very clean and serves the purpose very well. The kitchen, it’s completely fitted and fully stocked with all sorts of cutlery and equipment for you to hate just cook up a storm as you wish should you decide to eat in. This is really an amazing gem with amazing hosts as well. I have to mention though, the stairway to the lower level might be a bit challenging for some people but still overall, this is a magnificent venue. At lastly, what would make this place mind blowing would be a splash pool in the lower garden. I would certainly be back every weekend then!

A comfortable, up-market flat with a wonderful view. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, from salt and pepper to beach towels. The personal touches, fresh flowers, more than enough coffee and tea, home-made rusks and chocolates ensure that you feel welcome. A relaxed, private flat where you can relax and enjoy a home away from home.
We had a very nice stay here. The kitchen was modern, with absolutely everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the place very clean. Full package DStv included, and also good security provided at night.

Rest and peace sums it up. One can rest here and just sit and enjoy the view from the veranda, lawn or from your room! Lovely to go for a walk and the apartment is as big as a house.

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the host and hostess were very friendly. The place has a nice view, is nice and private and is well equipped with everything we needed and more. The small details (such as the fresh flowers and generous amount of chocolate next to the baths) that the host and hostess make an effort to make it a truly warm welcome and atmosphere in the unit.
