Didn't have a reservation on arrival? Not very lucky! Luckily they still had rooms open and were able to give us another room.
It was well sufficient, only I think someone forgot to put the geyser on as there was no hot water in my room, my colleague had hot water though.
Just a pity that our fellow guests were noisy until late, it was not the fault of the accommodation.
The mattrass was worn through. The room was very small and dark. The shower had mould growth on the tiles and on the ceiling.

Our stay at the guest house was not a good experience at all. We booked 2 rooms, one of which was the log house. We were on the lower level and the noise from above was not pleasant at all. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. They carried an extra bed into our children's room for us, so we could sleep better the 2nd night.
On arrival there was a vehicle playing loud music right in front of the 'No loud music' sign. We locked the security gate and in the evening realized we didn't get a key to unlock it. The family room air conditioner was not working and the room was very hot. The cots make a terrible noise every time you move.
The accommodation itself was pleasant but the mattresses and the noise at night were unacceptable.
Fumigation is needed.
The rooms are fine but the beds are not comfortable at all, they need to at least change their mattresses. But overall the accommodation was okay.
The place is clean with friendly staff. The only disadvantage is the upstairs cabin, if you are booked on the bottom you will hear the noise from upstairs.
I found the place a little too noisy. The main gate in particular. The was a lot of movement (in and out of the gate) by the staff who were noisy as well.
They only show channels that almost no one watches. Also no wifi password given.

It is not quiet at all in the evening, cats are fighting, people are making noise and we had little sleep before a funeral we were attending. Maintenance on cottages can definitely be done, curtains torn, shell paint off!

Some of our group members where accommodated in a four sleeper room. The room is not so comfortable it needs some renovation.

Good welcome. Receptionist was spending time with friends in the kitchen when we arrived. We decided to go out the first night. Rooms were well equipped with the necessary tools. There were almost no forks in the kitchen. We could only find 2 and had to take turns eating breakfast. Different groups of people came in during the day and there was a taxi minibus parked inside during the day. Not sure if it's for guests or not? It is difficult if some of the guests are outside by the pool, because there is not much room. It doesn't feel very private.

At first glance everything is neat and clean, and one can see the owners once went through a lot of trouble to create a boasting location and to keep it well maintained, but I unfortunately suspect the owners are not as involved in the management of the property anymore. In spite of notices posted everywhere banning noise or loud music, it was the staff who made the most noise. We went to bed and woke up with dagga smoke hanging around the place (guests smoking out in the open). One of the guests even asked my teenage son if he wanted to smoke marijuana as well! Some of the light bulbs in the room didn't work, the remotes of the TV were not working, the pool was dirty and there were quite a few cockroaches in the rooms.
We had stayed here before as a couple on a roadtrip. It worked so well that we brought the children this time. All three of them enjoyed the ease and the freedom to sleep, swim and relax as they pleased. Thank you for another wonderful stay.
Everything about the place (Rustenburg inn) is perfect, the beds so soft and always neat. I think that's the place I will always book when I have to go that side.

Rustenburg Inn met all our needs for a night's stay that we needed for a family gathering. It was nice to be centrally located where our function was and in a safe, peaceful environment. Accommodation was neat and compact with everything you need. Beautiful gardens.

It is with huge disappointment that I write this review. I booked overnight accommodation last week for the 13th January 2017 and paid for accommodation at Rustenburg Inn. We arrived at the premises at around 15:00 and a gentleman assisted us. We were advised that room 4 was our accommodation for the night. When we viewed the room it was found that it had a double bed in it, after we personally asked for two single beds. Also, the bathroom had no door to it. We asked the gentleman to please assist us with two single beds and a room with a door to the bathroom. He advised that he could arrange for us to sleep in room no 9, however, the occupant was only leaving later the afternoon. He assured us that he would have the room ready for us when we return later that evening. He advised us to leave all our luggage in room 4 until we return later. We left the premises with his assurance. We returned to the premises at 22:30. When we arrived, the gentleman that helped us earlier was nowhere to be found. The entire place was full of occupants who had a huge party at the pool. We eventually found the gentleman among the party goers at which point he did not act in a professional manner. We waited around for him to arrive, however he took forever. I then found our luggage in room 9, which he must have placed there and the door to the unit was not even locked. I tried phoning Fritz on several occasions that evening as it was a very unpleasant situation, however it just rang. I managed to reach his father at Rustenburg Inn 2 at around 23:00 who was extremely helpful and we spent the night there. I am really unhappy having been placed in this terrible situation. My Mom and I were stressed beyond belief, having to find accommodation elsewhere at that time of the night and the owner was unable to assist us. I find that totally unacceptable and very disappointing.

Very neat and clean accommodation was so welcome after a busy day at a festival. Each room has air-conditioning which was lovely after a hot day.

Our stay was very pleasant. Room very neat and clean except for the bathroom which was dusty - maybe just neglected to clean the bathroom. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Even though we arrived a bit late, we found the staff waiting for us to check in and the Family Room was spacious and clean. The Inn is also in a safe area so one can sleep peacefully. The management needs to provide Wi-Fi though for guests, it's a bit of an inconvenience when one needs to get online and they should also provide a paypoint machine.

Have stayed there a few times and really enjoy staying her. Nice braai places and large kitchen. This works for us.
On arrival there was no place for me - even though I received confirmation. After a scramble, I was provided with a room with a very small bathroom/shower. Main light in room - of 4 bulbs only 1 worked. Sink in bathroom extremely impractical and small, as is the shower with a door that opens to the wrong side - so you simply dry off in the room! Room needs redoing - very tired bedding and furniture - creaky mattresses.
Accommodation was comfortable and nice and spacious. One bathroom was just a bit bad, basin leaked water on the entire floor and the shower head was broken. Otherwise the accommodation was good value for money.
Decent stay, but would not stay there again. No shampoo etc. not in the shower. On Sunday morning very loud music was played by a white bus which was disturbing. We just got dressed and left.
Asked for a double bed, and got two 3/4 beds with a double matrass over the two 3/4 beds, matrass folded in the middle of the two beds and we almost went to the ground during the night. Unacceptable. Also the bathroom is mouldy and the fan does not work.
It was very good and I would go back to Rustenburg if I am around again. A good place to stay for everyone.
Room is convenient. The light in the bathroom is very faint. There is no window, which also makes the room very dark. For those of us who shave with shaving cream in the mornings it would be nice to have space to place our shaving utensils.

We were not booked in when we got there. Didn't know anything, even though the deposit and booking numbers were provided. Hot water in shower faulty.
The toilets didn't flush the first time, we had no air conditioning in the log cabin rooms. No toilet paper in the room we were then moved to, dirty pots in the kitchen that had clearly been standing for many days, and no matches when Eskom failed to deliver...
It was a very nice place, but the service was not up to standard. I asked for breakfast, but I got no response.
The room was neat and clean. Unfortunately, the TV did not work well and one can hardly see anything. One can very clearly hear movement from other guests and unfortunately the other guests were terribly noisy and slamming doors and talking loudly in the early hours of the morning (from 12 - 3 in the morning). The shower does not work well and every now and then you are overwhelmed by ice cold water.

The "log cabins" don't look like much from the outside. Inside is DStv, a small fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toilet, shower and sink! What I appreciated the most is the bed and the quietness of the area. Rustenburg Inn is very clean and tidy! Then also a thumbs up for LekkeSlaap.co.za: the bookings and payments work great!
We only stayed for one night, but it was a very pleasant experience. We really enjoyed the tranquility.
The rooms are very neat and well furnished, service is excellent. The bedding, including the pillows, smelled very sour. It's almost as if it has stopped the previous people's night sweats. I slept on top of the bed all night and left the pillows on the chair because everything smelled sour. It was the only big turn off for me!

Stayed in unit no 10, which was nice.
We only stayed one night. The room is small, but at least clean. There was no hot water that evening or the next morning, which I expected. The rooms are also not very soundproof and the noise from the neighboring rooms can be quite disturbing.
