A pleasant surprise was a bookshelf with classics such as Anthony and Cleopatra (Shakespeare), 1984 (Orwell) and The Road Less Traveled (Scott Peck)!
Would definitely recommend Rustic Manor to anyone! The accommodation is also perfectly located for anyone who wants to go to the US consulate for an appointment.
The service is fantastic, and the people are genuinely friendly. They go to great lengths for your comfort. Beautiful, peaceful garden around the bedrooms, and clean and tidy.
We had a very nice stay. The people were very friendly and accommodating. We had an accident after we got there, and they understood and helped. Best place in the Cape I have ever stayed. My daughter forgot something, and the people saved it for us and we were able to pick it up after we had already checked out.
My linen smelt absolutely divine, the breakfast was filling and the green smoothie delicious. The staff were great, especially the person who waited for me to arrive in the early hours of the morning. Thank you.

Possibly have somebody available on site at the premises to assist guests when something is needed. Upon checking out and leaving I had to hand in the gate remote and couldn't find anybody to let me out. Having someone on hand would be advantageous.

When we arrived, there was laundry in the sitting room, the complimentary coffee tin was empty (not a big issue, but still), the bathtub was dirty (hairs and dirt in the tub), and the pillows on the couch were visibly dirty. Also, there were a pair of random shoe inner soles on our room's patio table. The place needs a good scrub. Other than the cleanliness, I can't really fault them; check-in and out went smoothly, and the staff was friendly.
I received a warm welcome when I arrived by Kate. The room was very nice and neat as the photos depict in the ad. Caroline we stays on site makes a mean omelette and is very friendly and helpful. A special request or two was no problem for the staff and a friendly casual pre-departure chat with owner Jade made for an overall great experience. When in the area again I will definitely not hesitate to stay at Rustic Manor again.

Breakfast was delicious even though we were actually already late she still made it for us. The room was beautiful with an electric blanket on the bed and a hot water bottle in the room. It really is a beautiful place and very good value for money. I will be back again.

Very hospitable host. Went out of her way to give our children 2 separate rooms when we had only payed for ours and theirs to share. While waiting for our afternoon plane we were also allowed to stay on in the dining area until the afternoon. Would definitely recommend it to others.
We as a family of 3 adults had a pleasant experience of the overnight stay. The room was clean and tidy. The environment is also peaceful with birds that have been singing in the trees since early in the day. We also felt safe at all times. Delicious breakfast was also promptly prepared and served at the time that suited us. Just a shame about the water restrictions as I would have quite enjoyed a nice bath but this was out of their control. Will definitely use Rustic Manor Bed and Breakfast again for any future stays.
We were received very kindly and helped quickly. The rooms were unexpectedly nice and big. Clean and tidy. Breakfast in the glass room was a very nice experience, in the summer it will be unforgettable. The farewell the next morning was just as friendly and warm. I will definitely stay here again when I need to be in the Tokai area again. Excellent value for money.

Was pleasant but very clinical and stiff. They were not accommodating at all about breakfast. I don't remember being informed in advance with my reservation when breakfast times are, so no credit for having to check out earlier than their breakfast times, even though I booked it the night before. Breakfast hasn't been made yet, but I could see they didn't want to please me at all. I like my milk and coffee. I asked if there was enough milk and the answer was that there was some and that I could only get some again the next day. They send a lot of messages that are not a problem, but along with that it feels like they are only concerned about their payment and don't really care about the rest.
Excellent place to stay. Friendly owner.
