Only the people made noise in the restaurant, but were soon silenced.

"Noisy and poorly maintained. We only stayed one night at the accommodation. While the rooms have a lot of potential, our overall experience was plagued by several issues."

The staff needs retraining in relation to room service. The bedding was noticeably washed out and torn. The one bedside table did not have a double plug adapter so it could not be used. The shower needed a thorough cleaning, as evidenced by cobwebs that had accumulated a lot of dust. Furthermore, the remote control of the air conditioning was another challenge, making it difficult to set a comfortable temperature. Despite our preference for open windows, excessive noise from the adjacent restaurant required us to keep the windows closed. Our assigned room, 102, was only two units away from the restaurant, which turned out to be a significant problem. The restaurant showed a lack of consideration for overnight guests, with loud music and guest talking continuing past 11pm. It disturbed our sleep and defied our expectation of a peaceful, remote location. Breakfast was included and although it offered limited options, we appreciated that the waiter and manager allowed us to choose from the other breakfast items available on the regular restaurant menu - even if the cost difference was slight. However, this relief was short-lived. During check-out we discovered an error in our account, leaving an outstanding amount of just under R400 for a meal at the restaurant the night before - which we never had. She questioned whether we had outstanding accommodation charges, after which I showed her we had already paid the full amount in advance. The receptionist showed uncertainty in handling the situation and said with a hesitant apology that she would correct the problem with the manager. This last hurdle tainted our overall impression of the stay, and we were left with a sense of disappointment and frustration. We sincerely hope that improvements will be made for the benefit of future guests.

Great service, great food, everyone goes out of their way to help you and nothing is too much trouble! You can just stay there and relax, restaurant is top notch! My kids were in the clouds with bouncy castle, service and numerous board games!

Rooms incredibly stylish. Bathrooms, especially the big bath very much enjoyed. Nice views on water. From the room and onto the porch. Maybe breakfast could improve a bit.

"By far the biggest disappointment!"

A hotel and spa that turns into a nightclub/karaoke? I went to run my comrades qualifying marathon and the music was deafening until after midnight. I had to be at my venue by 03:00 so my alarm was set for 02:40. I went to tell the manager I couldn't anymore, where he said he told the owner it was unacceptable, but the owner didn't care. Drunk guests walked back to the dance floor and threatened me. The manager was able to send me 3 rooms away, it's adjacent to the farm next door, where the guard said I should just keep my patio light on all night just for safety.

"Quiet, farm feel."

The room is very beautiful, really like the industrial look. WiFi is available, so the children were very happy. Room is nice and clean, breakfast is very nice. The lunches and dinners are very tasty and are done very professionally by the chef. Their pizzas are very tasty. The only downside I would see is that the meals may not suit everyone's budget. But luckily the Mall is very close if you want alternative meals. Will definitely stay there again.

What you see on the photos is exaclty what the place looks like, really very pretty, large room space. Very nice lawn for kids to play on. Delicious food! Will go back anytime.

Mostly positive but unfortunately also small negative comments. Beautiful clean rooms with a beautiful view over the dam. Small things that stood out for me were the uncapped WiFi (easy to use), a safe for my laptop in the room, and freshly baked bread with breakfast (only 1 out of 2 mornings) and plenty of coffee. Unfortunately, on the negative side (which can easily be addressed) were pigeons making a noise on the zinc roof and hindering our sleep.
