The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, a 4-plate gas stove, oven, a microwave, food processors and all necessary cutlery. The lounge has a TV with full DStv and a DVD player. There is a lovely balcony off the lounge, an ideal spot to enjoy the view. The natural bird life enjoy being fed from the balcony, and porcupines may visit from the mountains in the early evenings. The area is peaceful and the house is secure with a full home alarm system. There is an adjoining flatlet on the property which is occupied.
All the lights, the TV, DStv, the security system, and Wi-F- run off a solar-powered battery system, so if and when loadshedding occurs, guests won't even notice it as there is also a gas stove in the kitchen.
