It had plenty of parking especially for us who was traveling in 2 vehicles and a caravan. Pet friendly. The family unit we stayed in was much bigger than expected and had everything one needs.
Beautiful place to sleep, unit clean and environment has an Easter feeling.

Place was very clean, few TV channels to choose from, and no WiFi. A little far out of town, but otherwise we had a very nice stay, thank you very much.

The indoor barbecue was a winner - especially with so much rain in the air. A lovely hot shower and very comfortable bed set us up for the rest of our trip.
Had a nice stay, was just very hot a. g. f. the heat wave that week. However, the thatched roof and a fan helped make the heat more bearable.
No electricity backup supply. On arrival, the area was dark and we were told that there's nothing that could be done but to wait for Eskom.
We were just looking for a good, safe place to sleep for a motorsport event we were attending. Safe Haven met 100% what we wanted and expected. I would recommend them.

The cottage has everything you need. It was clean and very tidy. We had a great stay, the indoor barbecue and fireplace are a pleasure.

Safe Haven exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were spotless and the smell of the clean linen filled the entire room. Mandie was an excellent hostess, the housekeeper was super friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit with four-legged Lola. It felt like our second home. I can recommend Safe Haven with the utmost confidence.

We stayed in two units that connect to each other with a middle door. All the furniture and linen are fresh and clean. It's a very quiet area with a nice view. The hostess was very friendly. The only possible concern is that the windows do not have burglar bars, but the premises appear to be effectively fenced. It didn't bother us, but city people are maybe a little more nervous. I will definitely come and stay again ─ it's the best accommodation we've ever found in Bloemfontein.
The unit is very well equipped and I like the braai area in the unit. Perfect for those cool evenings.
Our hostess Mandie went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. During the power outage due to a severe thunderstorm, she put her gas stove in her kitchen at our disposal to cook our food. We can recommend this guest house with great confidence.

We booked at short notice, Mandie responded quickly to inquiries and the check-in and check-out process was very easy, even if Mandie was not at home at that moment. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable and has everything you need and more (except maybe a mirror for blowing hair). I would happily recommend Safe Haven as a convenient overnight stop.

We stayed in the thatched unit opposite the splash pool. The unit is wonderfully equipped with a built-in braai and a fireplace as well as a microwave and everything one needs for an overnight stop. The beds are comfortable and the unit was spotless. What struck me was that even the towels smelled of Sta-Soft. It was delicious and is not something you find at many guesthouses. There are also nice extras that you don't always find in a self-catering unit, such as bath products, a box of milk, water, ice cubes as well as tea and coffee. The sunset and stars were also breathtaking. The hostess gave us great advice on great places to eat in the area that are child friendly. Our breakfast at Pretty Gardens was excellent and I can really recommend it. You do hear the traffic from the nearby thoroughfare at night, but this is the case with most of the accommodation options in the area and Safe Haven stands head and shoulders above other places in Bloemfontein where we have stayed overnight.

Lovely quiet place to stopover on route from the Kalahari to Durban. Mandie was a great host and everything was perfect. We loved little Lola (the dog).

We had a great stay at Safe Haven. The rooms were spotless and very tidy. Furthermore, they are comfortably furnished with everything you need for self-catering. Good location near the highway if you just want to stop over on your way to somewhere else. We will definitely visit them again. Mandie was very friendly and helpful.

Apart from the fact that the place is very beautiful and there is attention to detail, their service is one of the best we have ever experienced. They went out of their way for us.

Safe Haven offers a peace of mind after a long journey. The lady was very helpful and friendly. The children enjoyed the pool after a hot day on the road.
Even though it is just outside the city, there is a farm tranquility and you can come and go easily.
We really enjoyed our time at Safe Haven. Spacious neat place. Mandie is friendly and makes you feel at ease. We were not home during the day but really enjoyed the time there.
Very comfortable and neat. Just would have liked to have a generator as power was out for hours. And we couldn't make coffee.

We stayed in the two family rooms which were adequate for two people for three nights. Strange that there is no sink for washing dishes in a self-catering establishment, but the plastic bowl provided did the job.
