We had a wonderful stay in the spacious, cool house. The spacious porch, which is enclosed with glass doors and opens onto a garden and gives the feel of the woodland, was a hit. The house has everything you need and our reception was a great treat with a delicious bottle of wine and special bread. Our car was also locked in a double garage. Middelstrand is 600 m and Jweey's on the Dune on the Kariega estuary is 900 km - both within walking distance. We will definitely be visiting again to stay at Sage Cottage!
My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage is perfectly located within walking distance of the beach as well as the shops. It was spacious and well-equipped, and our hostess was very welcoming. And having solar power is a real bonus.
Received very hospitably. The house has everything you need. Washing machine and dishwasher were very welcome. Best is the nice stoep room with full braai. Secure parking.
The cottage ended up being a big, comfortable, 4-bedroom house. One en-suite and two other full bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All the kitchen appliances to make your stay more comfortable, are there. Lovely braai room, but also outside braai available. Safe parking in a garage for your vehicle. More than enough towels and blankets. All you need to bring, is your personal belongings and food. The rest all catered for. Awesome stay.
We had a lovely Easter weekend at Sage Cottage. The host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend the accommodation and would love to stay there again if the opportunity arises. The place is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. The indoor braai area was fantastic.

First and foremost, Melani was an absolutely terrific host. The home has everything you might need for your stay and more. Can't wait to go back.
The beach house was everything the photographs promised, and more. It offered quiet garden views and close access to Middle Beach. It worked so well for our big family visit.
Great house for groups.
The landlady is very informative, friendly and helpful. The house is beautifully appointed and well supplied with everything a large group could possibly need on holiday. From the living room and porch the only sound you can hear is birdsong. The small garden modulates attractively into the dune bush, where you can watch mongooses as well as the many birds.
The quiet, peaceful environment makes one realize again that people still live here, they are not just surviving. Definitely recommend it if you just want to recover from the hustle and bustle of the real world and get your priorities straight again. Our hostess was friendly and even spoiled us which had never been experienced before. Will be back for sure, and we even arranged to stay longer than we booked for.
For those who like to walk, centrally located from town and beach, considerate hostess with nicely furnished house among the coastal vegetation.

Melanie's friendly reception immediately made us feel at home. And the nice and fresh ciabatta bread and bottle of wine! It is a nice house for socialising with friends with full TV channels. Can definitely recommend this accommodation.

Can't think of any expectation that is no more than fulfilled. Nothing is too much trouble. Inside and outside, one experiences peace. Sage Cottage is highly recommended.
We really enjoyed Sage Cottage. It was the perfect place for a peaceful seaside holiday. It is close enough to the sea for easy walking. The beaches are incredibly beautiful here! The house is comfortable and the porch is a winner! Nicely sheltered when the wind blows. We were able to lock the van in the garage so it was safe while we were here. Will definitely come back and bring my whole family!
