My spouse and I stayed in the accommodation for one night. The house is compact but neat, clean and comfortable. All that might bother some guests is that the toilet, sink and shower (which are excellent) are located in the bedroom; at least there is a partition at the toilet. The entrance is quite steep, which can be a challenge for a heavily loaded car with a weak engine. We were received kindly, which also helped with the parking, which went very easily. A plus point was the parking in a locked garage close to the door and on the same level as our room, especially as we had a lot of luggage to unload. And of course also the beautiful view from the porch. The environment seems safe and is quiet. A good location, although a bit of a drive to get into Hartenbos town.
It was a lovely place. Enjoyed the view as it's quite high up. Very quiet and relaxing. Good for two people to stay, one can even sleep in the lounge area.

The accommodation itself is not too bad. In the room we were in, there was no view. If you drive in and out every day, this can be a problem. The ramp is very steep. You could smell the gearbox oil burning (automatic). So, driving up and down everyday won't work for me.
Braai facility indicates but at our studio we did not have,we would've have to braai on a different side of the facility /house. Host were not as friendly and receiving. Extra bankets were provided but did not smell fresh. The facility extremely steep. The hosts wayof communicating is extremely degrading and rude approach afterwards I've NEVER experienced a host on lekkeslaap like her. Wifi connection was off during night time. Definitely not a place for holiday, the hosts were noisy early morning in the garage almost wanting us to get up and leave already and we drove long were tired.

We needed to stay for a few days while my son was on his cricket tour. This place is well located in that it is near to everything, however far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel that you are on vacation. It was clean and had all that was necessary for us to relax and enjoy our stay. The deck is spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. A bonus was the WiFi and full bouquet of DSTV, which allowed us to enjoy all the sport (listening) whilst we were on the deck.

We were looking for a place to stay one night and came across pocket-sized accommodation, everything was exactly as in the description and photos. The photos do not do the place "justice", it is even more beautiful than in photos. There was everything we needed for one night, safe area and very friendly reception from Marina and Hein. We definitely can't complain, we were upstairs at the cottage (there are a lot of stairs to climb, keep that in mind for older people) with a lovely view, my parents were downstairs in the studio, everything was very nice and tidy. For the price you can't possibly want to complain about anything. I should also mention the driveway is incredibly steep to get into the garage, also just something to keep in mind for older people, but any vehicle can go up there comfortably, vehicle was safe in the garage. There are smart TVs, and WiFi works 100%.

A very steep ramp to accommodation. Not for old people or people who cannot climb strong steeps. Stairs and railing are a bit loose and unsafe. Our car was too low for the steep ramp. Your car may be stuck. Cars that are high on their wheels will make it. Our BMW and Ford Fiesta do not. Otherwise, it is a lovely stay and very beautiful. It remains worth it. We will just go with a different vehicle next time.
