Ons het heerlik gekuier. Pragtige uitsig van die buite-kombuis. Die eienaars is baie vriendelik en gaan uit hul pad uit om alles gerieflik en na smaak te maak. Dankie nogmaals vir die heerlike slaai wat Karin vir ons gestuur het. Ons het ook n heerlike stappie geneem en die natuurskoon bewonder en as voëlkyker kon ek twee nuwes op my lysie afmerk.
Very nice, clean, tidy and well equipped. Lapa is great, hostess great, and then the view.
The hosts could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Facilities showed clear attention to detail with everything set out to make your stay convenient.
We had a great time, read, relaxed, and went for walks every day. The hostess also spoiled us with a delicious vegetable dish at our barbecue.
Private with most breathtaking views, relaxing and so peaceful. Thanks for the wonderful 10 nights - back to the business of JHB.
Pool table in lapa was an added bonus. A kettle and sink in the lapa would by useful additions. Owners were very accommodating.

Nice barbecue and entertainment area, perfect for the long weekend or even a normal weekend.
On arrival there was no power - no fear. The problem? No back up generator or gas was in place. Not even proper lights, only two paraffin lamps. We left the following morning and there was still no power and the cherry on top is, we had to bath/shower in cold water. This was the most unpleasant stay.
Environment and facilities are of the above quality, absolute hospitality and friendliness make it a wonderful experience.
Magoebaskloof is one of the most beautiful places in RSA.
Pleasant hostess and neat accommodation facilities. Surprisingly quiet even though we were so close to the road we didn't hear any of the traffic. Beautiful view.
We only spent one night there, but they still made so much effort for us. Everything is so nice clean and tidy. Was really nice to sleep over there. We will definitely be going back again and telling people about them!
Lovely view of the natural forest.
Convenient and next to main road. abbot noisy with traffic audible. Comfortable enough and clean. Main problem is cooking...it is outdoors in a shed of sorts. No oven, just electric plate. We were there in winter so too cold to sit around. No firewood, no pots so problematic if you are not fully equipped. No heaters in rooms either . Suggest minor improvement seg. lampshades and bedside tables and lights. Owenbre very friendly and complementary coffee on arrival

Picturesque view with clean and tidy accommodation. Both owners are super friendly and brought delicious snacks. Something we didn't expect at all! Top quality hospitality and would refer anyone to Samango Lodge, Karin and Heinz go to great lengths to make your stay memorable. Here you can also see the Samango monkeys every day.
Room is super clean and neatly furnished, meets the requirements for an overnight stay or longer. Host is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Had an unusual request and she made it happen with love.
Beautiful place and highly recommended.
The owners of Samango Lodge are lovely people and treated us very well and made sure everything was OK. It's a very peaceful place among the trees and has a nice view of tree life. We also saw the Samango monkey which is special because they are very shy and you don't just see them. Would recommend to anyone.
For the price one pays, 100% adequate. Maybe not so private. A little close to the road. Great, easy place to stay if you're just looking for a base.
