"Great villa close to everything - a little love and it would be perfect."

Position of the house was great with a fabulous view of the lake and a quick walk to the hotel and the beach, however, it needs a little bit of love and maintenance. The stairs were damaged and there was damp inside on the walls. The house doesnt get any winter sun so also very cold. It had everything we needed and comfortable.

My unit was situated right on the lake with a beautiful view. We had the best stay ever. The home had everything my family and I needed and was spacious as well. We got to see the animals walking around and we got greeted by ducks during our morning coffee by the lake. The owner was helpful and friendly. I can't wait to book this villa again. We had a great rest, the location is fantastic with the dam just in front of the house. There is so much to keep the kids busy. Was a great vacation.

Got a bit lost on arrival as there are 2 LOT23's and the second one was not lit. The parking area is a bit tight for SUV vehicles. The unit was very comfortable, tidy. The service from reception was excellent. The security is top notch and even came to drop off wood for us at our unit. Will definitely visit again within the next 6 months. The view of the Lagoon was breathtaking. I also really enjoyed driving around with the Golf cart and the private beach was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend it all 100%. Thank you very much for allowing us to rent your unit.

All was pretty much as we expected. Would have liked a bit more directions in terms of where to leave full bin bags and get new bin bags. The upstairs shower door is very narrow to get in and out of, not recommended for bigger people.

"Wonderful visit."

Check in by reception pretty quick. Good location. Very safe estate. Short drive to the beach with security controlled access and lifesavers. I recommend going for the sunrises. One adult and one mixed pool behind the hotel with a Spar shop and library. Golf carts available for hire. There is canoeing, harness contraption to jump high, bicycle hire. There are bok running freely around. There's a large shared pond with houses arranged around it. There's fish inside for catch and release as well as birds and ducks visiting. Kids loved it. Parking is a little narrow. There was an extra space for the 2nd car but otherwise you have to park quite far away. Before you enter, there's a little clothes hanging area, shower and sink. Go downstairs to access the kitchen, lounge, dining and outside area. En-suite on same level as entering and two rooms with central bathroom up the stairs. There's an enclosed balcony with bed and chairs overlooking the lake. Decent sized eating table in dining area and couches in the lounge and two additional chairs. There is a separate wooden table outside for family eating as well. House has a decent kitchen with stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dryer. Kitchen had the basics. House has Wi-Fi, DStv, aircons in the rooms and central area. The lounge cupboards had nets, water toys, beach umbrella, two beach chairs and board games in the other. Brick braai stand, grid, some wood, and a bin were outside.

The villa is neat and comfortable and conveniently located on a small pond with birds. The estate is safe and tidy and an ideal holiday for a family. We will come again!

Great safe place for family with small children. Beach neat and clean. Lifeguards are a bit lazy on the beach.

The villa is well located between the beach and hotel pool. The pond gives a lovely atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay. However, the shuttered bathroom door can easily be replaced with a solid door. Very good, safe family holiday.

"A very peaceful, safe holiday"

San Lameer 2307's location next to one of the small ponds right by our braai area provided the children with fun with the geese you come to look for and the fish that peek out from the water. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and everyone was able to relax after a day at the beach. The beach, golf course and swimming pool are conveniently within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

Some of the previous reviews were negative. The place is painted, the cutlery was new. Will stay there again.

The estate is very nice and we enjoyed the area, but the unit was really not up to standard. Very stuffy with mouldy furniture. Crockery is all different and plates and cups are chipped. Forks adn knives are also dirty and bad quality. Not a pleasure in this aspect, I think they should consider an upgrade.

"December holiday with family."

Although San Lameer is very well located with clean and safe beaches and a variety of things for us teenagers to do, we were disappointed with the unit. The unit is not cheap and we expected the price to at least include the cleaning of the unit (even if it was only every other day). Although the bedding was clean, it appeared to us that the unit was not well maintained (maybe there were students or matrics there before us who damaged the place?). The lights hung askew, kitchen drawer panels came loose. The storage room was dirty and messy, key holder stuck to the wall lying on the floor etc. There were also many cigarette butts in the flower beds and grass in front of the porch. The unit is also equipped with old cutlery and kitchen accessories (at least the washing machine was new).
