The villa offers open-plan living with a cosy lounge with a TV with streaming capabilities, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven and stove, and microwave, as well as a washing machine, tumble-dryer and dishwasher for convenience. From the living area, the villa extends to a covered patio with a braai and a lovely view of the trees.
In addition, the villa features uncapped Wi-Fi.
The villa is conveniently located close to the hotel swimming pools and leisure desk.
San Lameer Estate is a nature conservancy, and features a Blue Flag beach, an 18-hole golf course, as well as a 9-hole mashie course. Guests can also make use of the 3 squash- and tennis courts, 2 swimming pools or visit the restaurant at the hotel or the spa.

6 guests' feedbackGreat stay, however, missing TV in main bedroom and poor cooking pots and pans. We had burnt food daily.
Well located with few steps. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.
There is only one weak point and that is the braaier. Rusted through.
I would have appreciated it if San Lameer had informed us, the day we booked, that the unit above us and next to us was undergoing repairs. We would definitely have booked another unit then.
San Lameer, and villa 1928, is a beautiful holiday destination. Sadly the noise and disturbance from a nearby villa negatively impacted our stay. We complained 3 times to security, the problem continued, and we did not sleep for 2 nights. We have not received any feedback from San Lameer as yet.
Resort is a bit neglected and definitely needs paint and maintenance. Cleaning services are not automatically included although the price should definitely include them. There is no communication with guests about how things work and what is available when you check in. Rest was very nice and I will definitely go back again. Spa was closed for restorations - was not notified in advance at all.

House rules
Important Points to Note:The villa can accommodate 4 persons as per estate rules.
Additional fees not included in quote and billed separately:
Entrance fees for 2 vehicles are included in the price.
Any additional vehicles will be charged at R100 per vehicle.
Linen is provided and only replaced for stays of longer than 5 days.
Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee.
A TV with streaming capabilities is available.
Guests need to bring along their own beach towels.
Non-smoking unit.
No pets allowed.
Housekeeping:
Low Season: Limited to Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only. Should you require additional days, please inform us as this can be arranged at an extra fee.
Mid-and High Season or Long weekends and School Holidays - serviced every day, except for Sundays and public holidays.
Estate house rules:
By booking this unit, our guest accepts the terms and conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.
All December and January bookings should be paid 1 month prior to arrival.
No payments can be made at the estate and should be settled before arrival.
Cancellations:
Should we be able to source another booking, we will gladly refund the full amount, less the admin fee.
Guests are not allowed to sublet the unit. Keys will only be signed out to the surname confirmed with our agent.

Departure time strictly 10:00.
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
