15 guests' feedbackThe unit is comfortable and has everything one needs. The unit was spotless on arrival and that was definitely a plus.
This is a very nice unit with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with all amenities needed including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The living area is modern and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this unit. The daily cleaning of the unit was a wonderful bonus! The only thing we didn't like was the wooden frames of the bed that we found a bit uncomfortable.
San Lameer is the perfect holiday destination: the beach, the walking paths, the activity of people on golf carts, the wild animals and nature at its best.
Did not expect so many stairs to climb. Otherwise had a good time. Pillows need updating.

Everything was perfect, no complaints.
A perfect position on in the estate close to all amenities. The only negative was the monkeys that stole our food when we were eating on the veranda. Otherwise our stay was great and the villa suited our needs perfectly.
Appliances and fridges, to name a few, need replacing, as they appear "tired".
Kids had a lovely time. The only thing I would change is covering the balcony as we had some rain and could not use the braai area.
Not a queen bed as indicated, but a double bed. WiFi in the unit will make the stay more comfortable.
Would be nice to have a covered patio as you can't do anything outside if it's raining. Some further feedback on San Lameer itself. The benches at the family pool have been renovated/maintenance done but the screws they used are a lot longer than the depth of the table and actually stick out at the bottom which is very dangerous. The pool itself is also actually very dangerous. My little girl almost drowned. There should be more than just a sign between the flat part at the slides and then the sudden 2.2m drop. Some sort of barrier. Also the pool water is so milky that should I not have seen her go down I would not have realized as you can't see the bottom of the pool. A friend dove in with a bright red costume and touched the floor and we couldn't see him at all. I would also suggest a different way of pool side ordering. Perhaps an electronic system that orders can be placed and not the poor waiters who have to walk up and down to get orders and bring orders back. We waited for more than an hour just to get some drinks and then the food took another hour.
The location was perfect for us who were playing in a tournament.
The apartment is spacious, neat and clean. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lagoon. The air conditioning in the living room was great on hot days and the cleaning services were a big bonus. San Lameer offers various activities at no cost (only a deposit). The resort is beautiful with goats and monkeys roaming freely. We felt safe in the resort and the adjacent beach was beautiful and not too busy. We will definitely visit the resort again and recommend the villa.
We really enjoyed our 11-day stay and were able to get enough walking exercise as well as visit and enjoy all the attractions / restaurants in the area.
Place is neat. All the people we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Would stay in San Lameer again anytime.

House rules
Unit can accommodate a 5th person on the sleeping couch, but the 5th person must be below the age of 6 years, as per estate rules. Guest should also bring along their own extra bedding for the 5th person on the sleeper couch.Additional fees not included in this quote:
Entrance fees for 2 vehicles are included in the price.
Any additional vehicles will be charged at R100 per vehicle.
Linen are provided and only replaced for stays of longer then five days.
Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee.
Selective Dstv channels included.
Guests need to provide their own beach towels.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Low Season: Limited to Monday, Wednesday and Friday's only. Should you require additional days, please inform us as this can be arranged at an extra fee.
Mid-and High Season (Long weekends and School Holidays): Serviced everyday, except for Sundays and Public Holidays.
All December and January bookings should be paid one month prior to arrival.

ESTATE HOUSE RULES
By booking this unit, our guest accepts the term & conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.
CANCELLATIONS:
Should we be able to source another booking, we will gladly refund the full amount, less the admin fee.
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
