There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer, as well as a breakfast bar with stools. The lounge has a comfy lounge suite, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with a full selection of DStv channels, and uncapped WIFI.
The living area opens up onto a patio area which has an outdoor dining set and a portable braai. The second-floor patio has a beautiful view of the lake. It is closely situated to the hotel, shop, library, swimming pool and squash courts.
The facility is equipped with a portable 500 W power station designed to mitigate the impact of load shedding. This versatile power source can effectively operate essential appliances, including television and Wi-Fi connectivity, among others but no high-load appliances.

10 guests' feedbackIt was awesome, nice and clean, and very friendly people. The restaurant and the pool is perfect, honestly, I really enjoyed the place so much.
We will not be staying at this apartment again. We love San Lameer and the estate as a whole is a dream! This unit was grossly overpriced, the furniture and fittings are very basic and visibly dilapidated. Very disappointed with what we received for the price paid.
It was very easy to make my reservation and pay. I was kept informed the whole time and San Lameer is one of the nicest resorts we have ever holidayed at, we will definitely go again.
The unit is excellently located in Sanlameer and minutes walk from the shop, tennis courts, swimming pools and beach. We never needed to get into a car. It's a small unit, but has everything one needs. I wouldn't recommend it for friends (the second room is just too cramped), but it's ideal for a family with two or three children (like us). The king size bed, lovely view, unlimited WiFi, cleaning service and the lovely shower were wonderful. The washing machine and tumble dryer were bonuses. We will go again.
We had a lovely relaxing time. The Villa was nice and clean. The bathroom in the villa needs a bit of an update. Shower head was broken (used it more like a hand shower) and the basin had a very bad crack in it. Also I would have liked some sort of umbrella for outside and the braai needs attention. But other than that we had a lovely stay.
San Lameer is a super estate with loads to do and a great beach. The unit has everything. However, it is across from the Hotel, and the generator faces the unit and is incredibly noisy during load shedding. It powers the hotel, not the unit, so you get the noise, without the benefit! Depending on the load shedding schedule, it can be very inconvenient. I got 4 hours' sleep the first night. The generator turned off at 11, and started at 3 am again. Although I spoke to several people, who appeared helpful, in fact they did nothing about it.
With San Lameer rates, I believe the owner could improve on the style of this villa. The furniture is old age, one small couch for a family of 4 is ridiculous, the bedroom with two beds leaves no space for one to dress let alone breathe. The fan is noisy throughout the night, the drawers are old and warped to open, the bathroom shower head is held by black tape. A bigger joke to have a washing machine in front of the toilet. My guys are big and the bathroom is a serious joke. The kitchen and its pots and pan needs to seriously be updated. It's dirty and old and we carried breakfast stuff to do our own and that was a disaster, with the pan coming of like pepper in our eggs. The braai stand needs a serious upgrade. Too many artificial pot plants and the artificial flower stands by the bedside wall could be dangerous for little kids. It was terrible and nothing like the pictures. Very deceiving. Very uncomfortable and I would not recommend 2008 to anyone. This place needs a serious upgrade, otherwise sell it to someone who will respect the San Lameer for what it stands for.
The stay was anything but enjoyable. Apart from loadshedding and the hotel's generator's noise, sleep was difficult, if this was not enough, the bed very uncomfortable with a mattress feeling more like a rock! As if that wasn't enough, the shower didn't work and the staff were extremely inept with absolute no respect for their guests! We checked out a day earlier because it was unbearable in that place! I am so disappointed that I am strongly considering contacting and using media platforms to warn others!
The linen was of good quality. The unit was cute and had everything we needed for our stay. Front desk service was professional and welcoming.
We really enjoyed our stay in San Lameer Villa 2008 and will definitely book it again in the future. Positive aspects: The apartment is located very close to the San Lameer hotel and has a nice garden and lagoon views. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms are all very well equipped and the decor is really nice. The lounge sofas are particularly comfortable and the beds also sleep very well. The bathroom has not been redone recently, but is clean and tidy. There is aircon, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Negative aspects: The stoep is completely open and there is no roof or umbrella, if it rains or if the sun shines terribly then you will not be able to sit on the stoep. The braai is very basic.

Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Housekeeping:
Included in the price is a daily service throughout the year, except for Sundays and public holidays.
All December and January bookings should be paid 1 month prior to arrival.
No payments can be made at the estate and should be settled before arrival.

By booking this unit, our guest accepts the terms & conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
