It was very nice, always beautiful and relaxing. Amenities at San Lameer are so fun for kids. Unit has a very nice large lawn in front where children can play. The unit is not cleaned well. Lots of food and dirt under the sofa from previous guests. There was also no water for 2 days.

We were very happy with our stay. Received the best service from all at San Lameer Villa 2502 and housekeeping was great.

Some villas around the estate need a touch of fresh paint, some are really looking bad.

The second room mattress was bowed. We invited an elderly couple to join us for the weekend. We did not expect a bed like that. Shower not fixed, hence water goes onto the bathroom floor. Please look into installing a fixed shower. Property very well cared for.

Only a hand shower in the bath, glass to keep water out is only 20 cm wide, so it was a mess and impossible to shower. So you have to hold the handle in your hand to shower, not good enough for a beach holiday and very difficult for old people to use and get in and out of the bath each time, very slippery. Not one plug worked, not the bathroom basin or the 2 sinks in the kitchen. Bathroom sink leaked into cupboard underneath. Braai rusted through. Bunk bedroom small and stuffy definitely won't call it a 5 sleeper. No hanging space for towels. No shelves to unpack toiletries.

The unit was very comfortable with air conditioning and a very nice porch/living area.

The unit as a whole was not bad and we enjoyed it. The place was very quiet and we felt very safe at all times and slept peacefully in the evenings. There are a few things that I believe would have made our stay better and the owner could consider addressing these. Living room sofa is very uncomfortable. Fridge makes a lot of noise and is right next to TV. Maybe consider a service on the fridge. Kitchen could do with an overhead light, as the only light installed is located in the living room. To be able to cook in the evenings we had to use the extractor's light, which was not exactly ideal. It might be a good idea to leave some dishwasher tablets or soap for guests; it does not make sense for guests to go and buy a whole box of dishwasher soap for one or two uses. The dishwasher is there and regular dish soap is left for guests. A hanging hook for keys would also be a good update The upstairs wooden porch has collapsed and looks sloppy when sitting on the porch below as it is very visible. The general area around the unit is not properly kept clean or maintained. We understand this is not the owner's fault, but it can be taken up with San Lameer's management. There were many plastic bags and bottles scattered around the unit, possibly due to monkey activity. The communication between Top Destinations and San Lameer staff regarding access codes for guests was also very confusing. Top Destinations has indicated on our inquiries that we will receive access codes upon enquiry. San Lameer staff let us know that we had to contact the owner himself (directly) for access codes. We received codes in the end, but it seems as if there is miscommunication between the two institutions, which made things very uncertain for us as guests.
