San Lameer Villa 2505 is a lovely self-catering villa located in the secure and popular San Lameer estate. The villa is conveniently located, within walking distance to many leisure and sports facilities. The security controlled estate offers beach access, swimming pools, tennis and squash courts, golf, a children’s' playground, and bird watching.

The unit can accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 child below the age of six years, in 2 bedrooms and it has 1 bathroom with shower only. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other room has a bunk bed, double bed at the bottom and single bed on top. The villa is located on the first floor with a balcony, is air-conditioned and serviced daily. Bed linen is included, but guests should bring along the own towels.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and features a microwave, stove, oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. The lounge area offers comfortable seating and a TV with selective DStv channels, as well as uncapped WiFi. Braai facilities are available on the patio, as well as secure covered parking.

The unit is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants and is located 15 km from Margate, 18 km from the Wild Coast Sun Casino and Water World.

Unit 2505 is a lovely unit and perfectly located in terms of traveling within the estate to and from the conference area, spa and restaurant, but, I need to point out the following: The bed in the main bedroom I'm assuming is broken. If you stand in front of the bed, to your left, there is a huge hole you sink into when you sit or lay on it and it makes one hell of a noise when you move a toe. I had to sleep on the right side of the bed. The pillows were not comfortable either. There was no TV remote to switch the TV off. You had to switch it off on the TV or at the plug. There is also no plug at the dressing table for a hairdryer. At the outlet (inside the shower), there is a very sharp tile, I've hurt my foot/toe on it. Fortunately, it didn't cut me. The tiles in the shower is also not suitable for a wet surface, it's the type of tiles you use on a wall and should most definitely not be inside a shower. I've almost slipped. You could face potential liability claims in case of an injury. Loved the complimentary coffee, tea and sugar however, due to the humidity, the sugar is moist and unusable. Perhaps consider using sugar in a plastic sachet instead of a paper sachet. I'm not sure what the policy is in regards of smoking. Perhaps have a small sign on the door or in the kitchen. I would recommend that you keep one on the patio table though. I would definitely recommend that you install WiFi. You don't always want to go all the way to the restaurant just to read an email and do some work.

Entrance fees for 2 vehicles are included in the price.
Any additional vehicles will be charged at R100 per vehicle.

Linen is provided and only replaced for stays of longer than 5 days.
Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee.
Selective DStv channels included.
Guests need to bring along their own beach towels.

Housekeeping:
A standard service on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during the low-season. In mid-high season, the unit is serviced every day, except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Take note that long weekends and public school holidays are included in the mid-season. Additional services can be arranged at an extra cost, but must be arranged in advance. This amount can also be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit.

All December and January bookings should be paid one month prior to arrival.
No payments can be made at the estate and should be settled before arrival.

By booking this unit, our guest accepts the term & conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.


South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared.
Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming.
The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality.
It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem.
We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
