The villa was perfect for a couple, has everything you need and more. Will definitely be staying at Villa 2514 again. Beautiful villa with all the comforts you need.
We really enjoyed our stay at San Lameer Villa 2514. It had everything we needed, was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Every day we chose different on-site activities, as well as visiting the beach daily. We wish we could have stayed longer.
The only negative is the lack of services, specifically water - which results from a lack of municipal maintenance of infrastructure. Half of our stay was without piped water - spare water was provided by San Lameer in containers.
I strongly advise against considering any property managed by Top Destinations. Our experience was nothing short of infuriating, as they deducted a whopping R750 from our breakage deposit for a cracked window on the outside. This window is accessible to everyone and is susceptible to damage from garden maintenance, making it utterly unreasonable to expect tenants to conduct daily inspections of the property. If we had been explicitly instructed to monitor the building and windows regularly, we would have been more vigilant. However, Top Destinations failed to communicate this crucial information, leaving us blindsided and frustrated. Adding to the frustration, it took Top Destinations weeks to respond to my query, further highlighting their lack of concern for tenant issues. This negligence has left an indelibly sour taste in my mouth. I strongly caution against booking this unit or any property owned by the same landlord or managed by Top Destinations. Save yourself the headache and frustration; look elsewhere for a more responsible and tenant-friendly management company, in saying that LekkeSlaap always provides good customer service.
We were pleasantly surprised with the unit, as well as with San Lameer!
It was our first beach holiday with our little girl, and the villa was perfect for us as a family. Lovely comfy king-sized bed. They also supplied us with a 25l bottle of water as there were water issues in the area. The Villa was serviced every second day which was great.
The resort is safe, offers lots to do and is great for children. The private beach is a big plus. The unit itself is beautiful, cleaned daily and has lots of luxuries (aircon, WiFi, DStv). We are also very impressed with the service we received from Top Destinations who manage the unit.
A very cute place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy peace and quiet.
Unit is spacious for a couple (2 people), beautifully laid out and nicely decorated. Unit was also perfectly clean and tidy. Best rest!

The unit is very well equipped, it makes staying there a pleasure! Only minor disappointment was that the unit has no view of any kind. Pictures were deceiving and we expected a view of the beautiful golf course. Despite this, we have no complaints and we really enjoyed our time there!
Had a problem with the safe lock and the owner paid the necessary attention to it Hellen, who is the unit's maid, provided excellent service

House rules
Unit can accommodate 2 persons.The Villa has uncapped wifi inside the apartment.
Additional fees not included in the quote:
Entrance fees for 2 vehicles are included in the price.
Any additional vehicles will be charged at R100 per vehicle.
Linen are provided and only replaced for stays of longer then 5 days.
Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee.
Selective DStv channels included.
Guests need to bring along their own beach towels.
Housekeeping:
Included in the price is a daily service throughout the year, except for Sundays and Public Holidays. Should you require additional days, please enquire as this can be arranged at an extra cost.
All December and January bookings should be paid one month prior to arrival.
No payments can be made at the estate and should be settled before arrival.
Estate House Rules:
By booking this unit, our guest accepts the term & conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.
Cancellations:
Should we be able to source another booking, we will gladly refund the full amount, less the admin fee.
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared.
Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming.
The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can’t control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem.
Please note we can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances mentioned, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
