The unit is a bit older, but it is much cheaper than other units. The unit is also quite large. For sure value for money. Location of unit is also a big plus.
This villa is a bit dated but is very well equipped, has everything you can think of: gas braai, washing machine, tumble dryer, board games, cleaning services, and a golf cart included, which makes it good value for money. It is very close to the beach. The host is always ready to answer all queries and questions. It would have been better if WiFi was included.
Will go back again anytime.
House is very nice. Maybe needs some attention (carpeting is done by stairs) and paint will make everything look cleaner. The place also has a built-in braai for rainy days. Not a fan of gas grill and was a bit difficult to grill on the Weber. Weber is also kaput.
The unit is perfectly located and walking distance from the beach.
The accommodation has everything you need. Nicely located close to als. Really enjoyed it!
We were 8 men on a golf tour and also rented another unit in San Lameer - Villa 3209 was R 1500 more expensive over 4 days, but there was never anyone to clean and no toilet paper after one day. Other unit (Villa 3003 was cleaned every day and new towels and toilet paper). Would not recommend the unit Villa 3209!
We enjoyed the stay very much. The golf cart makes a big difference. The facilities are well maintained and the unit is well equipped. However, extra air conditioning in the ground floor bedroom would make a big difference.
San Lameer is fantastic, the unit is nice with 4 bedrooms and almost everything you need is there, e.g. coffee maker, dishwasher, smoothie maker, beach umbrella, board games, etc.. Also 2 air conditioners and DStv. Nice porch with Weber and gas grill. Golf cart included was absolutely necessary inside the estate. Just bring yourself and clothes, the rest is there.
Place is dirty. Place is unhygienic. Floors dirty and unkempt. There is "clutter" everywhere in cupboards and drawers. Kitchen was chaos and untidy. No list of contents of home. Dozens of different glasses. We had to clean the toilets ourselves. There was months-old garbage on it. The floor tiles' "grout" was black from the dirt instead of light yellow. And so on and so forth.
The house had everything we needed!
Very nice stay. San Lameer is an excellent vacation destination.
