We enjoyed it, the view was just beautiful to relax and enjoy your early morning coffee too. The kids enjoyed the swings and the little bunnies. We enjoyed going to town early morning and spent time on the beach until noon, and then came back to enjoy the tranquility of your place. WiFi did act up a bit, but we came to relax and unwind. The staff is very friendly and we will definitely come again, but next time for a whole week Thanks.
Sandals is a fantastic place to stay. Calm, safe and fresh sea air blowing over. Close enough to shops and beach. Fellow vacationers can get a little noisy, but luckily we were able to put up with it.

Very definitely. We basically used the accommodation as an overnight facility because we were attending the "Jazz on the Rocks" but were very pleased indeed.
We had a great time. Although the green house looked a bit "sad" in terms of decor, it is still a place to recommend. We had a lovely walk around the farm and really enjoyed the surroundings. There was also hot shower water for all four of us which is great when you have two teenagers showering.
Very neat and quiet. Would recommend to friends who want to get away and visit. Not so hurt for teenagers, little ones yes.

I enjoyed the stay as it was very peaceful and has an Incredible view, however, I do feel they can put more entertainment on the grounds such as a pool or something as there's nothing really do to there especially if you staying for a long time and expanding would also help make the place great. Other than that it's really beautiful, clean and has such an amazing view.

We had a very peaceful holiday. The braai area is such that you can watch the beautiful sunset. Very neat unit and we had all the basic necessities.
We found that more basic utensils are lacking in the kitchen. There is also no separate mop for outside and cloths to wipe the table outside with. Maybe about 4 plastic chairs that sit more comfortably than wooden chairs. No gas supply for load shedding. Wifi unreliable but still value for money.

We stayed in Rooi Sandals, it is very well furnished and tidy. The braai place is cozy and there is good protection from the wind. We had very nice weather, and the view at sunset is very beautiful. Amanda was very patient with my many questions before the booking, and they also catered lightly for loadssheddig. Will definitely visit again!
This is our second visit to Sandals and we will definitely be back. There is everything one needs. The lovely porch has a beautiful view of the farm and Paternoster. The stoep's roof that leaks when it rains can be a bit disturbing. But we still had a great time on the stoep.
Separate units for family privacy, while also allowing for group get-togethers. Large stoeps are great for braais on rainy days.

Paternoster is so beautiful and unique, although quite hectic and Sandals just outside everything and dead quiet and peaceful.
Just one thing about Green Sandals. The braai smoked us out. Maybe the chimney is blocked.

Very private and secure. The children enjoyed it just as much and close to the business center.
For me the only problem was the hot water. The faucet has to run for a really long time before hot water comes out. One can collect the water and throw it in the garden, but it does not work well. However, there is hot water, always.
We had a lovely few days at Sandals. The stairs up is very steep, so we had to be extra careful with the two year old not to fall. The view over Paternoster was beautiful. The kids enjoyed the walks on the farm too.

We attended a wedding in Paternoster and family from all over the country came to attend the wedding - Sandals was big enough to accommodate our whole family and the facilities are really great. What makes Sandals so special is that you can hang out as a group, but also each have their own separate living and sleeping facilities - a really great destination and would definitely recommend the accommodation.
We have stayed at many places, but the Pink Cottage is now our top place to stay! It was spotless, tidy, the bed slept wonderfully, the decor was particularly cute, rustic and beautiful. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you needed for cooking, as well as other amenities. The private braai was a bonus to be able to relax and eat outside in the evening. All I can suggest is that instructions should be given on how to use the digital dust, unfortunately this was a problem. Then, although free WiFi is offered, we had no WiFi signal for the 4 days there, which was disappointing. We left the place neat and clean. For the rest we just had a very, very nice stay and will stay in Pink again and also recommend it to our friends/family. Beautiful surroundings and view, we had a great stay, thank you Amanda!

The view at night with a fire on the balcony was perfect for a nice, peaceful visit. We were checked in at Groen Sandals. Our group was there for an engagement. And had a little too much fun afterwards. However, Sandals are perfect for the traveler looking for tranquility. Amanda was also available anytime as needed. Once again, Amanda apologizes for the music being loud.

Sandals would like to credit my account after I left it 'dirty' but I didn't expect to get the place 100% clean again. Although I made the bed and tidied up. The curtain fell down and I left him like that because he just fell when I opened it. Thank you very much for wonderful service.

We really enjoyed the break and silence, we are less than 5 minutes away from the main street (Paternoster) and the sea. With the detour road to St Helena Bay you can also be there in 15 to 20 minutes. And the beautiful view over the farm and on one side the sea is "priceless". We really enjoyed it and will definitely go back there again.
The unit was equipped with everything we needed. From linen to clean towels. It is situated not far from town, and we specifically enjoyed the peacefulness and tranquility of the establishment. We will definitely be visiting Sandals again.
It's the second time we book here, and it's the ideal place to make yourself at home for a week or so. Everything you need is here, and the view, location and surroundings are just the best. We will return to Sandals every time we visit the Western Cape. Everything is well organized and you feel right at home.
Small, quiet town. The nearest PnP or Spar is a few kilometers away, but there is a small shop with the necessary items. A few nice places to eat in the village.
Stairs were a bit of a challenge with small children. Furthermore, we had a great time. Apartment was nice and clean. Will definitely use the apartment again.
I suggest that there should be a little more privacy at the Sandals since everyone parks in front of your door. And then a television and DStv would also be appreciated. Again, the place needs a little attention in terms of cleanliness.
Beautiful place. Inquiry to the owner was not favorably considered. What a shame that such a cute place is run by such an inhumane owner.

We really had a very nice, peaceful and quiet weekend, that was just what we needed. The unit really had everything in it. We will definitely visit again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend watching birds, braaing and relaxing on the wide stoep. All our needs were met. Only small negative is that the hot water takes a long time to heat. Everything else was clean, neat and in good working order. Loved the comments book and the additional info booklet. Amanda was most accommodating in such a kind and sweet manner. We had the loveliest weekend and will happily return and recommend to others.

With our country's increase in criminal activities, I would suggest that the gate be closed because the hangout is a bit close to the main road on the way to Paternoster, maybe more security? Better to be careful than too late

The only criticism is that the stairs to the upper floor are definitely too steep for older people. My mother definitely struggled with it. Next time we will prefer one of the lower units. A very positive experience was that we were allowed to change our accommodation from 3 to 5 people at short notice without any adjustment in the price. The sofa bed in the living room worked very well. Thank you very much for that.
Because Sandals lies outside the town, one is outside the hustle and bustle of tourists. Delicious.

Nice, peaceful and tranquil place to stay. Overlooking farm land and Paternoster and coastline. Beautiful views. Lovely stoep to relax and braai without the wind interfering. All good except for mattress - stiff, sore body after each night sleep after looking forward to a good night sleep with many kilometers of driving and exploring. Other than that a convenient place to overnight and explore nearby towns and beaches.
If you are looking for a peaceful atmosphere, located secluded in nature, Sandals is suitable for you.

The house was very tidy on arrival. Beautiful view but only certain houses have a sea view. Have small children and they had a great time playing on the farm. Will definitely go again.

All the amenities were great. Bedroom completely adequate. Bathroom facilities great although for some reason the taps at the sink in the bathroom wouldn't work but it didn't bother.
Nice place for small children.
Unfortunately, we only had unreasonable neighbors who complained about everything. They were very stuck up, but luckily my friends and I don't bother with monastery cakes! The house is very cute, definitely value for money. Amanda is very friendly. If I could make recommendations I would just replace the door handles. It's a bit loose and the blinds' strings are broken so it can't be pulled up completely. All the globes at certain lights don't work either.
Very nice unit, nice braai area. Lots of flies and midges. Had quite a hard time keeping the blinds up throughout the day, when I tried to open the curtain on the first day it came completely off the track. Would definitely recommend Sandals.

We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere it offers and are glad we could visit without disturbing other people. It was a lovely break and to visit all the other guests and also to be able to have a barbecue at any of the apartments was quite something special if you go as a group. Would recommend to anyone needing a getaway with friends and family.
First of all, a big thank you to Amanda. We arrived in town late. I made contact with her and when we called late that evening upon arrival, she answered the phone excitedly. The welcome note was a lovely thought. The accommodation was neat, clean and so modern. We had just enough space for the 3 of us. The stoep was our hangout. The house is not too far out of town. Close enough to drive in and enjoy the beach and town, but nice outside the hustle and bustle of the village. I have told all my friends and family about Sandals and have already started planning our next visit. Many thanks Amanda and Pierre. We enjoyed the stay very much. We will see you again soon.

Our group used 3 of the cottages, Amanda was efficient in responding to any questions we had before arrival. The cottages were clean and comfortable and bigger than expected. We arranged to use the fire place which was where we spent most of our time as there was ample space for our group around the fire. We will definitely return!

Sandals is a short drive (1,7 km) from the centre of Paternoster so close to all the restaurants and highlights of the town but is lovely and quiet as it is set in a working farm. I don't think one could find a better place on Paternoster! Although the farm is just outside Paternoster, you can see the town and the sea from there and you also have a lovely view of the farm. There is a nice playground for the children and it is much safer and quieter than in town. The house is neat and cute, but not luxurious. Our only objection is that the adjoining units are not soundproof, so you hear your neighbours.
We had a great time with the birds in the mornings. It is very close to Paternoster's main street and attractions. The owner quickly responded to our request to help with hot water and immediately sorted it out.

We stayed in White Sandals. Restful. Located far enough from the town not to hear any noise, but close enough to see the sea. Enjoyed the large porch with built in braai. The TV (51cm CRT type) and DVD player are still of the old type (can't even read a USB stick) - it was frustrating to use.

It was nice but it's winter and warm water didn't play along.Bed is a bit uncomfortable for my husband who has a back problem.Some of the decor in the place needs cleaning would also suggest a cover on the side of the lapa to stop some of the wind in the winter.
The place is very beautiful and a good place to just break away and relax! The walls are just a bit thin so your neighbor hears everything, but otherwise everything is very comfortable and pleasant, my friends didn't want to go home. And my 10-month-old baby enjoyed her, she was also free and she could sit outside with us and she could walk around. Many thanks to Amanda!
Other guests also arrived, which didn't really respect other people. The music rumbled from noon until late at night. We did inform the owner and she talked to them. Well, the next day music played again. She moved us to another room further away from them which was much better. They should also spend a little more attention on each unit (eg, see if the light works, enough cutlery, bath plug etc). Everything was neat nonetheless.
It is a very nice and quiet area and not too far away from the town. The facilities are enough. The grill was rusted and could not be used. Security is a big problem. There is no one on the farm and the gates are permanently open.
Having small kids I found the steps quite steep. Would have been lovely to host families downstairs instead of upstairs. Could be a safety hazard.
Absolutely amazed at the layout of the cottages. The pictures on the website does do the place justice. It is beautiful and tidy. Amanda is a beautiful person. We enjoyed ourselves. Nobody can hear you for miles and the view is from a fairy tale book.

The location of Sandals is perfect for switching off. Close enough to see the sea but far enough from the busy town. We really enjoyed our time. Sitting on the porch and looking at the sea was the perfect pastime. I just suggest that prospective visitors note that you must bring your own cleaning products (washing up liquid etc.) for the kitchen. Amenities otherwise were adequate. Although the bath cannot be used due to the water restrictions, the shower's water pressure is very good (just takes a long time to warm up). We will definitely visit the place again.

We were a group of family who stayed here during our daughter's wedding in Paternoster. Each unit was of the best quality and everything was painstakingly neat and clean. Sandals is well located, the view is breathtaking. If pets are traveling together this place is ideal, our dogs could run until they were tired without any problem. The facilities are very comfortable, mind you the wind interrupts the DStv quite often but with the incredible Paternoster beaches available the DStv is not that important. The whole place is bigger than I expected and everything you need is there, but dishes are quite a big part of the holiday because there is just enough of everything for each person. Overall Sandals is a fantastic place to stay, Amanda is easy to reach and sorts any issues straight away. It is really 2.5 km from Paternoster and every convenience is already there. Would definitely visit again!
A very cute place. Just big enough for 2 people without being cramped. The view of the town and beach is beautiful. Nice and peaceful away from the noise of the town. Will definitely go back.
Sandals are ideal for a getaway. Well located just outside Paternoster, almost everything available for self-catering. However, there was no grill available, although there is an area for barbecuing. It will also help a lot if there is some dish soap available. There was only one bath towel per person for the period we were there, from Friday to Monday. It was cold and the towels didn't dry completely. It might also be good to get at least one call from the owners during the period to make sure everything is OK.

The rooms are themed with very interesting decor. If you book "Pink Sandals" - it's the "honeymoon suite" and it feels like you're sleeping in a "marshmellow" - come and see for yourself! Delicious braai-lapa. Nice walking paths. Our dogs could come along and that was a great plus.

The weather was really bad for four days. The electricity was also off the entire day. We also stayed for two days on our own on the property. Also not too safe. The towels didn't smell too great. We left a day earlier and drove home.

We had a lovely stay at White Sandals for the weekend. The apartment was super neat and clean, amazing linen and decor perfect. Thank you Amanda for your accommodation, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our 3 year old had even more fun playing with the other kids. Our labrador also enjoyed the weekend away. Location was great, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but also close enough to visit the restaurants and beach. I have one recommendation, additional bedding (blanket/duvet) for the sleeper couch. Awesome place and we will definitely be back.

Peaceful and calm flats on a farm just a stone's throw from the beach of Paternoster. Could hear the waves in the evenings, while the sparks from the braai fire danced in the wind. We were there in the middle of the week for 4 days. It's 2 minutes' drive to the shop and beach. Excellent restaurants closeby. Even though we braai'd crayfish every night. Simply an amazing place to relax and have a holiday.

Sandals is centrally located and well equipped. The facilities are great! The only inconvenience we experienced is the sound density of the unit - if you were to stay downstairs the guests on the upper level could be disturbing because every footstep or chair that moves is audible.
I was initially worried about the location and the price which was not that expensive. I had my reservations about what we would find there, but was pleasantly surprised. It was very neat and clean, the bedding was fresh and new, the chocolate on the towels was special. Everything we needed for the weekend was there. It was wonderfully quiet on the farm, the view was lovely and Paternoster close enough to drive through quickly. Thanks for a lovely drop-off spot.

We stayed in the pink house. My wife was overwhelmed with the decor, simplicity and comfort in the house and said that she would be able to live in such a house. We will go back again for a visit there anytime. We read the guest book and saw comments in it that were really unnecessary. Folks, this is a farmhouse, and the farmhouse atmosphere is wonderful, so if you're looking for clinical accommodation where the outside table doesn't "wobble", stay at the Holiday Inn in Cape Town. For all the other adventurous people who just want to relax in the woods, sit around a campfire and watch the sunset, this is your place!

We had a wonderful time. There were some channels missing on DStv, which wasn't great, it would be nice to have kiddies' channels. The batteries for the remotes were dead, other than that it was great.
We have stayed in several places in Paternoster and Sandal stands out as one of our favourites. Sandals offers value for money, with excellent facilities (although we missed an oven). The location is excellent with a beautiful view of the countryside and the sea. We had a very nice and comfortable stay here and can highly recommend it.

We were really very pleased with Sandals. You are practically walking distance from the town, but still on a farm. Our goal was just to rest. The accommodation and facilities are clean and tidy and attention has clearly been paid to fine detail. And it is the latter that makes one feel so at home. Absolutely value for money. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Close to Vredenburg, so not far from places to eat and the center. Perfectly located.
Would love to see shaded parking bays for the vehicles.

The cleaning services are not free. Although there is a washing machine on site, it takes effort to arrange. The walls between the upper two units are not soundproof.
Sandals is a beautiful place just outside Paternoster on a farm. The view over the coastal town is picturesque. It is wonderfully quiet and safe. It is definitely worth knocking here.
Very nice place to stay, however walls are very thin and you could here all that were said next door. We had a lovely time when there were no other travellers staying in the next apartment.

Is excellently located; away from the busy beachfront and part of West Coast countryside - best of both worlds.
Sandals is any big town or city person's dream who longs for a quiet evening away from it all, yet close enough to everything that you can be at a Mall within 35km.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandals. The accommodation was lovely & clean & we had everything we needed :) We will definitely be back, thank you.
