Stayed there so we could drive through the Addo park.
We were in a self-catering room, which was quite clean, spacious and tidy. However, some of the curtains and window frames show dirt. Some of the kitchen equipment is old and rusty and there is no running water or washing up area in the kitchenette, only a sink in which dirty dishes can be packed. Not a pleasant stay.
Thanks to the owner for the heater she put on. Made us feel very welcome. As this is self-catering a microwave would be much appreciated.
Very friendly and hospitable welcome. Sandflats is an old historic place, with lots of character and history that is well maintained. Will stay there again if we travel next door.
