Sandpiper was fantastic. Clean, tidy, a few steps and your feet touch the sea sand. Doeks we received is fantastic and was very friendly, helpful and hospitable. I can definitely recommend it to anyone.
We all had a lovely weekend. The house was clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The snooker table is a great add-on and fun pastime. We had a delicious meal outside at the table and drank coffee on the porch and beach.
Plenty of space for 2 families to share and enjoy good times together.
Sandpiper is unique because it offers direct access to the beach. You can watch your children from the deck. Our children raved about the sea and the sunsets and read the books. We will definitely be back.
The location is perfect! Would definitely do a return visit.
No complaints, very nice stay, friendly reception and house was adequately equipped. Most beautiful sea view, location is perfect, literally on the beach. Will definitely book there again.
One of the few places where the reality is better than the photos! Right on the beach with a wide view of the bay. Centrally located.
On arrival we received the key just outside the driveway, no one went through the premises with us and no rules were explained to us. In the living room is a coffee table with a large glass top - when we booked we said we had a 3 year old boy with us. The glass top has sharp points so my husband and I carefully lifted the glass top and put it aside to eliminate any chance of injury. After we left, we got a not so friendly message from the lady who cleans the house that we are not allowed to move furniture. We didn't move the glass back because we assumed they would want to clean first. Owners must take age of guests into account as there is a notice in 3 places that says they do not take responsibility for any injuries. The freezer side of the double-door cupboard was dirty and the taps for ice and ice water very dirty. Oven and its shelves also dirty and worn. The rooms' linen is very good quality and the house well equipped. The master bedroom's bathroom's shower door is faulty. A weekly cleaning or linen change may be included in the accommodation price. The outdoor furniture and braai can also be set up before the arrival of guests and a large outdoor bin can be provided so that black bags can be placed in it until it is removed once a week. WiFi is in the house but after asking for code no response received. The house has a beautiful view and we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.
