26 guests' feedbackThe place is so beautiful and neat inside. Everything you need for a relaxing time away is there. The small children enjoyed playing on the lawn. You can also easily walk down to the sea.
Very nice stay. The outdoor shower was a winner with the kids. Answered any questions for us immediately. Very friendly and helpful neighbors.
Each room has its own entrance with a large living area. So it's perfect for 2 or 3 couples who want to holiday together.
Sandpiper is a beautiful, clean and tidy place. Each room has its own bathroom. Kitchen has everything needed. Gas stove helped a lot during the loadshed days. Children could play on lawn. Open doors provided fresh air. Outside of the shower, of course, everyone's high point was when we came off the beach. Even the neighbors were friendly and hospitable. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely come again.
We had the best, most relaxing family weekend. It is so tranquil and peaceful, we really wanted to stay longer. We spitted some whales and the weather was just right. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. We will definitely be back soon!
We were thrilled to stay at the Sandpiper. It's a great place if you just want to kick back and have a comfortable place to do so. There were some board games and card games we could play with our little ones, which helped since we forgot ours. Seeing as there's no TV, we made our own entertainment and had fun all weekend, and this is definitely the place for that. The only reason I would advise against going there with young children is that there are a few safety concerns for them, like the grass patch in front of the home. Having boys, there were a few tumbles into the bushes beyond the grass. If you're going there with teens or slightly older kids, I imagine they would be able to prevent themselves from such falls.
No proper braai facilities. Weber was broken and we could not braai.
Small kettle to boil water with in load shedding would be nice.

We stayed 2 nights with friends in Sandpiper house. The rooms all open onto the open-plan sitting room which opens onto a veranda. The weather was lovely and the sea front walkway and nature reserve both within walking distance. Was perfect. And we would love to go again.

We had a lovely weekend with friends at Sandpiper. The house has simple facilities but has a lovely feel, beautiful views and comfortable beds and couches. We read, chatted, and ate to our heart's content. This is what this house is made for - relaxed living on the deck when the weather is good, around the fire when it's not.

The space was warm and so welcoming. Everything was so neat and well-maintained and not having the TV was absolutely no problem! The space insists on maximum relaxation. Ideal for 6 people.
We really enjoyed our stay. My kids slept so well which was a fear for me. The whole house was so so calming. Loved the outdoor showers and beautiful sunsets! The kitchen is a bit small and an oven would be great but overall the stay was special!
