Very neat & clean and the man there helped us so nicely & very friendly. What was just very strange is that he didn't know about our discussion at all. So we didn't get the room we booked. The man then said that luckily there was a similar room open. That's something you might just look at in the sequel. Not sure if it was a double booking or what.

The place is really like a house in the mountains. The rooms are equipped with lovely warm, soft bedding, as well as heaters and electric blankets. We were received with open arms and immediately felt welcome. The room is also cleaned. I can't say one bad thing about this beautiful guest house. Great, great, great!
We were met by David who is an absolute gem. The accommodation is beyond expectations. Clean and comfortable. The stoep/verandah is stunningly set up for a wonderful fresco dinner. Thank you for the warm welcome and wonderful stay.

Nice stay, David just forgot to let us know the breakfast at the restaurant (Orange Apple) so had to wait a bit for our breakfast, but the woman who owns the restaurant was very nice, food was excellent.

Thank you. Very cute place. We only inquired about accommodation for 7 people, our booking did not say anything about self-catering. So everyone was under the impression that an overnight stay included breakfast. So only one of the couples, so 2 out of 7 people, could go to breakfast the next morning. We spoke to the owner and it only said that the other 5 people's were not included which is half stupid as we booked as a group and nowhere was it said that 2 sleep in guest house and the rest in a self- catering house not. So obviously we all went to eat somewhere else.
I found other people's hair on the side of the bed I was sleeping in and the other side it looked like chips or biscuits that was under the blanket.
It was a very nice getaway. The place was clean and tidy. We will definitely do it again. Next time we'll bring the teenagers.

Really pleasantly surprised. If you drive through the countryside today you sometimes find the gems. This was one of them. Hope you get enough tourists so you can proudly maintain this standard. It was a privilege to sleep over there.
The friendly hosts immediately made us feel at home. Also packed a breakfast pack when we had to leave very early! It's a safe and tidy environment.

We used this accommodation to attend a wedding in the area. We were warmly welcomed and were satisfied with our room. Everything in the room was clean and tidy, and the rooms are also very well equipped. We didn't need anything, everything was there. Will use this guest house again in the future.

Great relaxing experience. Breakfast was off the books. Thanks to Leandri for the barbecue packets and salads - we really had a good time with other guests at the barbecue fire. David was also very helpful and really went out of his way to make everything go perfectly. Will definitely visit there again.
What a wonderful place. The accommodation is comfortable. The Manager, Kathy, is so accommodating. We were a group of 13 friends and at the last minute we asked her to set up breakfast in the braai area for all of us. With a smile she said: "No problem" and they set up quickly and we sat down to an absolute feast of a breakfast. David packed the braai for us and we just had to light it that evening. Well done Kathy, to you and your team. We will definitely visit again!

It was very nice to stay there. The reception and rooms were excellent and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.
The place is in a quiet area near shops. The rooms are just a little small. We will definitely go back next time for a longer stay. The place boasts a very good location. The food was very tasty and it was a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Everything was delicious. From the friendly people to the beautiful room. The underfloor heating helped a lot when it started to get cold in the early morning hours. The breakfast the next morning was perfect!

Neat place, but there is definitely not enough space. As a result, you can hear everything your neighbor is saying. The road is also higher than the rooms, so all passers-by look into your room. It's definitely not worth the money.

Everything was very good. We slept well, the underfloor heating was a plus. A plan can be made with the parking: it was sometimes difficult to get in. The recommendation is maybe to make the parking at an angle, maybe that can help. The breakfast is very nice.

What a pleasant time we spent at Sandstone Chameleon Guest House. We found the personnel to be always smiling, whilst efficiently working to ensure that all our needs were met.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Nice and warm with a homey feeling.
Would have liked a variety for a hot breakfast esp lamb or chicken instead of bacon and eggs only - next time I'll request this. Service, cleanliness, etc was good. There was a problem with no cold water on day 1 in the bath tub and whilst this was attended to when it was brought to the attention of staff, there was no cold water on day 2 - which was definitely a big problem.
We will certainly use their service again, and would recommend Sandstone Chameleon to anyone.
We had a very good time, facilities were top notch and an ideal getaway!
The coffee/milk/biscuit etc. is not replenished every day.
