The house comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with baths and showers. The main and second bedroom each have a double bed, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed as well as a single bed.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Guests can relax in the lounge which has comfortable seating, as well as a fireplace for the colder winter days.
The living area opens onto a furnished patio with braai facilities and overlooks the surrounds. The house also has a splash pool where guests can cool off on the warmer days while looking out over the plains of the reserve.
Please note, the house makes use of solar power, and guests are asked to please not bring their own plug-in appliances.
Activities include numerous hiking, mountain biking, and 4x4 trails. The area boasts a rich wild- and bird life which guests' can admire during their stay.

Sangwe is a remote location in a nature reserve in the Klein Karoo. The house has everything that is needed for a comfortable time away, two fridges, a gas stove for cooking, wood stove for heating. We went in Winter with moderate days and cold nights. The wood stove heated the house beautifully and kept it warm through the night. The days were sunny and moderate and we spent them walking around the reserve enjoying the views of the countryside and spotting animals. We enjoyed having no cellphone reception at the house, which helped us to relax. There was reception on top of a small hill about 50m away that enabled us to check in on our kids back at home, so we could still feel connected if we wanted to. We look forward to coming back one day.
Sangwe is excellently located in the reserve so that you have a beautiful view from the patio and braai area, and you aren't aware of other premises or guests. Had a lovely time, it is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. Beautiful nature and we had a good time driving, walking and biking. Unforgettable family weekend with Grandma and Grandpa!
Great spot for a relaxed few days - hiking, cycling (MTB), etc. Very comfortable accommodation and a very welcoming agent. Also a few calls from the owner to ensure all was okay.

It's a little paradise! Lovely cottage fully equipped with a beautiful view, nice and cosy fireplace, outside shower, nice stoep etc. We all love this place.
The setting is private and peaceful. The back porch, firepit and sundowner deck makes it even more memorable. The house has all the conveniences you need to get away from the city for a comfortable stay. The cherry on top was when we saw the giraffes the evening before we left. If you want to get away from it all (even cell phones) and reconnect as a family, then Sangwe is the place to go!

The layout of the house is perfect, the kitchen well equipped. What a wonderful treat. Food for the soul. We loved the view from the porch and also enjoyed sitting on the platform in the tree with our morning coffee. We zipped around the reserve and enjoyed 4x4 routes. The vegetation, silence and scenery were just what we needed for our quiet runaway. We will definitely come back again!
The weather played its part to make it a very enjoyable time. The scenery is exquisite and the house well appointed and clean. The buck and birds in the reserve were an added treat.
Neat and well-equipped accommodation in the Karoo. The patio has a great view of the Karoo surroundings and sometimes you can see the animals from the house. You can explore the area on foot, on a bike or in a car. There is cellphone reception within walking distance from the unit in case of emergency.
Somewhere in our hectic life one has to stop just to find oneself again. And Sangwe is just the right place. Comfortably furnished, this piece of paradise is shared with you. The springbok, giraffe, black wildebeest come to greet you and then we were spoiled with a full moon which made the weekend an absolute experience.
Very well equipped and nicely maintained accommodation. Absolutely everything we needed. The collection of books is an absolute bonus!
It was wonderful. If you're a real city person, you might get a little scared when the sun goes down, but it's all worth it. See you again.
A very well furnished little house welcomes you between two ridges overlooking the Klein Karoo plain. There are neighbors around you but you don't see them and you don't hear them either. Three bedrooms stylishly decorated with hotel quality bedding. Nice and cozy living room with double doors opening onto a veranda that offers the most beautiful vistas. Your eyes want to drown in the beautiful natural scenes, can it be true where I am? In front of me lies the harsh Karoo and 3 steps behind me a lovely bed with crisp white bed linen in a small house with electricity and hot water. The place charges your soul and works with your inner self. A beautiful place, a resting place, a new place!
It was delicious. Very neat house and the environment is very peaceful.
