22 guests' feedbackOur family of four camped at Camdeboo for two nights. The campsites are nice and private and the bathrooms clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the blue monkeys are a big problem. During the day, all food must be locked up or packed away at all times, otherwise an agile monkey will run off with it.
Yes, we camped for 2 nights. Large, neat shady pitch. Clean and well maintained ablutions.
On the way to Johannesburg, this was our stopover for the evening. Very comfortable considering we only had a tent. Kitchen with stove and freezer is very helpful. Bathrooms are very clean. Bunch of wild hamsters on site, and one ended up in our car. But surely all doors always remain closed.
We had an amazing time at Camdeboo National Park. We stayed at the campsite for 5 nights. The campsite was clean, neat and well-maintained. We were really impressed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome. The campsite is perfectly situated and there is so much to see and do in GraafReinette. We loved the 4x4 routes in the park, it was breathtakingly beautiful. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful atmosphere in the forest. Tent nicely furnished. Nice braai facilities. Watch out for all the curious monkeys!
Very nice camping. Pitches very private.
Our group camped for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything met our expectations. Valley of Desolation is an absolute wonder to visit.
Neat and clean. Not just the sleeping area but the whole park.
Nice big and private campsites. Good amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We will go again. The mountains and trails were worth it.
We were quite well prepared for over-soap in tent. The tent itself was very neat and clean. Unfortunately, the tent itself is a bit tired and some of the zippers don't work that well anymore. Made wonderful friends with other guests. The whole atmosphere lends itself to that. Tents can be cold, we were there at the end of March and got quite cold in the night. Facilities in shared kitchen much better than expected.
Safe, secure, friendly, engaging and helpful staff. Keep tent locked at all times to ensure no vervet monkey can enter. Would go back.
The visit was top notch. The monkeys are just something to keep in mind.
Congratulations to SANParks with great accommodation. All facilities are excellent and staff are extremely helpful. We will definitely visit Camdeboo again.
We slept over for one night. Got to it late at night. Security was very helpful and the campsite, as well as the bathrooms, were very clean and tidy.
Very tidy and the electric blanket a lifesaver.
Neat tented camp with all of the necessary facilities, even the fridge in the tent!
The bookings were very well done. The booking at Camdeboo's hell highlighted a problem. The SANParks reference number was not provided and the officer had to search to make sure we had a booking. The Park offers many things to see. It is also near Graaff-Reinet if you need supplies. It is a good, central place to stay.
Als calm and neat just very stony.
Had a great stay. Suggestion: Place just needs a swimming pool because it gets very hot. Otherwise well organized.
An overnight stay on Graaff-Reinet is worth it. The town and surroundings offer a great deal. Camping in the National Park also gives access to the Valley of Desolation and staying to enjoy the sunset. High quality facilities, clean and tidy.
