SANParks Kieliekrankie Wilderness Camp is an unfenced camp in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Kieliekrankie is perched on one of the highest dunes in the Kalahari with seemingly infinite views over the surrounding dunes. The unfenced camp is the perfect venue to enjoy sundowners while absorbing the feeling of the immense space. The area consists of dune vegetation with few trees and the units overlook a waterhole. Sunk into a dune, with endless views of the red Kalahari sands, this unique self-catering wilderness camp will be accessible by passenger vehicles however a 4x4 with high ground clearance and low range capabilities is recommended. Kieliekrankie is situated just 50 km or one-and-a-half hours drive away from Twee Rivieren.

Where the red dunes and scrub fade into infinity and herds of gemsbok, springbok, eland and blue wildebeest follow the seasons, where imposing camel thorn trees provide shade for huge black-mane lions and vantage points for leopard and many raptors, this is the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Access to the Park can be gained through 5 gates in 3 different countries. From South Africa access is through the Twee Rivieren gate, from Namibia through the Mata-Mata gate and from Botswana through the Two Rivers, Mabuasehube and Kaa gates.

The camp offers accommodation in Dune Cabins, each containing 2 single beds, a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin, a well-equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery, a fridge-freezer, and a gas stove. Power in the camp is supplied by solar and gas, there are no conventional plugs. Each cabin has a deck with outdoor furniture and braai facilities.

The camp is not fenced bringing the veld right to your door, and a Tourism Supervisor is on duty at all times. The Kieliekrankie Wilderness Camp also has a waterhole.
