Koringkorrelbaai sits a rocky shore with a long, beautiful beach just to the north. The bay is well known for sightings of heavisides’ dolphins. A 4x4 is required to reach this camp.
The Koringkorrelbaai Coastal Camp Site is a rustic campsite that aims to maintain the wilderness character of this coastline. Guests need to be totally self-sufficient and bring everything they may need for camping. There are 5 sites, each with a windbreak wall and a braai area. The sites have no water, electricity or ablutions, and only have enviro toilets. There is no cellphone reception.
There is wood available at Groen River Gate, but it is recommended that you bring your own wood.

3 guests' feedbackThis campsite is beautiful. We had a lovely time exploring the surrounding rocks and beach, and then later looking for ostriches and seals throughout the park. The park rangers were also very helpful and nice. It is very remote. This adds to its beauty, but also makes it difficult and confusing to find. The rangers sent us good directions, but we followed Google Maps and missed a turn, meaning we came in through a different gate that was not manned by a person. We did not have cell service at all in the park, so we felt lost both coming in and going out.
The large bomas were very helpful against a cold wind that blew.
Friendly and helpful staff. The wind can be tricky at times, but that's part of camping.
