SANParks Kwass Se Baai Coastal Camp Site

Kwass Se Baai is known for its beautiful, quiet bay and the long sandy beach to the south. This is a very good area for vygies in the flower season. A 4x4 is required to reach this camp.
The Kwass Se Baai Coastal Camp Site is a rustic campsite that aims to maintain the wilderness character of this coastline. Guests need to be completely self-sufficient and bring everything they may need for camping. There are 4 sites, each with a windbreak wall and a braai area. The sites have no water, electricity or ablutions, and only have enviro toilets. There is no cellphone reception.
There is wood available at Groen River Gate, but it is recommended that you bring your own wood.

7 guests' feedbackGreat stay! Just need to be well prepared and kitted!
Enjoyed our stay with friends. We booked the whole camp, but the bottom 2 sites were large enough to accommodate 5 caravans.
The staff are very very friendly and efficient. The location is amazing, the flowers were stunning. Couldn't ask for more.
It was very cold and the wind was really blowing. But we accept that it is winter in the Cape.
Unexpected with stunning coastal bays which are all amazing.
Appreciated the kind of boma but still the wind and sun was a challenge.
It's a gem that you have to fully experience. Good to recharge your humanity again. The staff at reception are great and very hospitable. The reserve is clean and directions are neat and clear. The lungdrop pleasantly surprised me. Clean and neatly maintained. The campsites are well located and quite private and nice access to the sea.
