Formerly an informal campsite, Langkloof was upgraded with ablution facilities and running water in 2011. The campsite is situated approximately 18 km from the Park Reception at Roodewerf, within the scenic upper reaches of the Langkloof Gorge. Kudu, eland and other small antelope and mammals frequent the area and, along with the guests who visit, are the only ones to experience the awesome power of thunderstorms and the ensuing wonder of the Renoster River during a flashflood.
There are 2 campsites, each with its own bathroom and kitchenette. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. The kitchenette does not have cooking facilities, but has a sink and gas geyser. Paraffin lamps are provided in the bathroom and kitchenette. These sites do not have power points. The sites have braai facilities, but no braai grids are supplied. In addition, each site has a shaded carport.
The campsite is accessible by high clearance 2x4 or 4x4 vehicle, however in the rainy season a 4x4 is advisable.

1 guests' feedbackThe campsite was very neat and clean. For 2 families or groups of friends who know each other, this is an ideal campsite. The road is not good in places, so 4x4 is definitely recommended.
