Stunning view, a complete immersion in nature, rooms are big but old, the restaurant is very good for food, but as usual, there is a very long wait.
Staff at the resort questioned our booking every time they saw me. Arguing we only booked for 2 days and then I had to prove it was actually 4 days. There were also bats in the rondawel.
I am coming back very soon. I can't wait for my next visit.

I was shocked to see how the Kruger National Park had deteriorated.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely stay there again.
The camp is beautiful. Our accommodation was cosy, the facilities were appropriate and comfortable. It was very neat and clean. The kitchen was equipped with the necessary and we enjoyed a nice dinner at our outdoor kitchen. There were two negative aspects: 1. In our bathroom there was a faucet that leaked terribly and the shower faucet was broken. 2. We were very grateful for the microwave, but there was no obvious power point to plug it into and we had to practice it on top of the fridge.
Beautiful camp in Kruger! We had a great visit with good service at this beautiful stay.
Accommodation is great and all facilities are well above normal standards. Restaurant and store are well equipped.
Camp was quiet. Shop well priced and equipped. Restaurant food average. Taps in cottage 100 dripping continuously - wastes water. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The outside kitchen isn't everyone's favourite. Other than that very pretty.
Very nice stay at Mopani. Cottages neat and clean. Enjoyed the private braai area. Enjoyed the evening at the restaurant. The next morning's breakfast (service) could be better. We waited a long time for our food and coffee. Something has to be done about the bee problem. We didn't find it at any other camp. The view from the deck at the restaurant is breathtaking, but we would recommend that the deck be made larger by expanding. So many people miss it because there is not enough space on the deck. Will recommend Mopani anytime. The shop is also very cute with friendly service!
Enjoyed it tremendously. Was cooled down though by the very high Conservation Fee of R930.00.
The problems with the bats that have taken over the units are horrible. Mopani Camp should instead turn people away until the problems are sorted out. The smell inside the place was unbearable, we were just glad it was only for one night. Will visit SANParks again but definitely not use some of the units, it's definitely time for new decor.
