9 guests' feedbackThe campsite was clean and there are plenty of shade trees to choose from. The ablution blocks were also clean and tidy. Just watch out for the baboons and blue monkeys who will quickly help themselves if you leave something outside your tent or caravan. They know how to open drums, so store everything in your tent or car. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in campsite for one night, bathrooms were very neat.
The tent was simple but clean and comfortable, well situated close to the reception, shop and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The water hole is just amazing, night and day, with lots of elephants, impalas, buffalos, monkeys, zebras etc. Interesting also : the architecture of the bungalows, probably build in the 30's.
Braai facilities need attention. Bathrooms and laundry facilities clean and tidy.
Was nice and tasty. The monkeys are just a lot of trouble, so make sure everything is closed and locked.
I was disappointed in the condition of the bungalow, the window frame that keeps the mosquitoes out was broken, air conditioning did not work and there was almost no pressure in the shower. Although we spoke to reception before booking the trip, there was almost no cell phone signal or internet, this after the receptionist assured us that the reception area had internet. The maintenance people did try to help with the shower but could not really solve the problem. The walking route is beautiful but short, there were a lot of beautiful butterflies (Azure Hairstreak, Guineafowl, Common Sailors, Orange tips, Brown Veined Whites, African Migrants, Plain Tigers, Zebra Blues as well as Bushveld Bronzes.) The restaurant was great, delicious food and value for money. Overall I would rather recommend Skukuza and Lower Sabie, if you do want to travel further to Mozambique's border Pafuri is a better option.
It is one of the best camps in the Kruger.
All the staff were helpful and friendly! Very neat campsite with a waterhole lookout point, elephants bath and drink water regularly. Definitely worth it!
Very quiet and peaceful - waterhole right next to the camp - saw a lot.
