5 guests' feedbackWhat a special experience. Between the Waterberge by the dam in a tent house. Peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, fresh air. We saw very few animals because it was terribly bushy, but we didn't go to see animals; we went to rest. And we did. Will definitely go again.

It is with great sadness that I write this review. I haven't been to Marakele in a few years, we used to visit frequently. The roads are not maintained at all. Lucky we were there in a 4x4, there used to be game all over, but now there is barely any. Not a trace of animals. One here and there, the scenery remains remarkable but it's sad to see how far this has gone backward. There is so much potential there. The mountains and landscapes are endless, absolutely gorgeous, makes you wonder if there's food and space, where are all the animals?
I can recommend with an easy heart. The view of the mountain is incredible. Worth visiting for a weekend.

The entrance roads to the safari tent camp and bush camp and the narrow track up to the towers, can also be accessed with a sedan. Most other roads will present difficult terrain.
The use of drones inside (and over) our national parks is strictly prohibited.
No smoking is allowed inside the accommodation.
