Very nice and friendly.
My stay at the farm was the highlight of a difficult week visiting family in East London. The accommodation at Santa Paloma Guest Farm is great, the hospitality magnificent, and the breakfast wonderful. The road to the farm is challenging for a small car, but fine when driving slowly.
Most fantastic accommodation with the most beautiful nature view. Will definitely go back again.

The place is refreshing. It's a farm after all, with a nice mountain view and zebras. It's truly a place where you can go to detox from TV and city life. Just don't accept any dinner invites, as you will have to pay for the plates, and this is not communicated. Also, be aware that the Drongo suite doesn't have a wardrobe, chair, fridge, or microwave. They also don't provide any soap. Additionally, there are no ironing facilities, which you only find out when you arrive. Despite all of that, the hosts are friendly. If you are allergic to dogs, you might want to reconsider, as they were all over us, even in the dining area. Although my son enjoyed them, I surely didn't.

After a long day of hard work, this is definitely a place to rest.
Arriveer net om te sien dat die bestuurderes 'n oud leerling van my is. Sy is Nadia en haar pa Jacques. Dit was 'n uitstekende verblyf plek in die hartjie van Oos-Londen se ongerepte natuurskoon. Vele wilde diere wei voor die opstal op 'n daaglikse basis. Pragtige gemanierde huistroeteldiere wat 'n mens elke dag vermaak. Gaan gerus en geniet die plaas en kom weg van die besige stadslewe. Nadia maak die heerlikste etes teen 'n baie billike prys.

Beautiful location 5 minutes from the N2 motorway. Perfect overnight place after a long day's travel. Feels like visiting family, comfortable and hospitable. Learned a lot from the owner about sustainability.

The place is located in a beautiful peaceful environment. It has a lovely African and 'rustic' feel. Some renovation work is needed. Our toilet was loose and the en-suite door opened and closed with great difficulty and noise. Sound density is a significant problem. Although guests have their own bedroom and en-suite facilities, the place has a 'backpackers' feel as you can hear your neighbors' conversations (so we only whispered). What is especially unacceptable is being woken up at 5:15 in the morning by your neighbor's morning bathroom routine. The place is highly recommended for team building sessions by companies, as well as for large groups of friends/family who want to spend a weekend together. We booked the Oriole room for overnight purposes and did not feel at all comfortable about the absence of 'sound privacy'. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. General feeling is positive, although we only fell in the road again after 6.

Very lovely place. Atmosphere is like one big family and very comfortable. So peaceful and relaxing, will definitely return again. Do yourself a favor and don't go out to eat in town, their home-cooked meals are truly delicious.

Santa Paloma was the best little overnight spot on our tour from Mossel Bay to Durban! The pictures on the site looked really pretty and I'm so happy we chose this place! Excellent service, beautiful rooms and clean! Warm reception, home cooked dinner, had breakfast and even took a quick jog to the bush with the farm dogs following us. I will definitely visit Santa Paloma again, thanks!

One could relax on the stoep with a beautiful view of the farm and animals. They are very hospitable, the nature is breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious.
There is not even a proper road to the destination. On arrival we were shown the rooms which looked comfortable. There were no towels available like in other places. We had to ask for keys to lock doors. No TV or ceiling fan or any fan. The toilet in the one guest room is loose on the floor and has slipped, in other words the rubber behind has come off and one could not live in the room. Not again.
Jaque and staff are very friendly and helpful and chat nicely with all the customers and make everyone feel important. Accommodation very simple and tasteful. Peaceful atmosphere with an emphasis on nature and around nature and to protect it and use it sensibly.
Once you get past the doubt on the path down to the farm, then everything is made up for by the calm and quiet environment, friendly people, wildlife grazing near you and the absolute tranquility there on the farm!
