It was very pleasant and we enjoyed it a lot. Room was great!
The room was neat and clean, the TV remote didn't work, batteries were flat, for a 4 star guest house they didn't have small fresh milk in the fridge for coffee and no other option for coffee except Ricoffee. Bathroom was full of cobwebs and the sink plug was broken so I couldn't shave in front of the mirror. The bathroom taps and tiles were not cleaned, lots of water and soap stains. We were at a wedding in Harties and when we came back the other residents at the back were playing loud music and talking so loudly we couldn't sleep, I then used the cell number on their website to send a WhatsApp and SMS send so they can plan to stop the noise but have had no response. The breakfast was delicious but only strips of bacon, eggs and a very small boerewors were served, I had to make my own toast where I have no problem, but the big toaster only works the 2 right side burners, so our 3 people had to pretty much ' Waited a while until everyone's toast was ready as the whole toaster wasn't working. There was also no fruit juice served with breakfast, when I asked for fruit juice I was told the manager was off duty and no fruit juice was bought. The placemats on the tables were also dirty and some of the previous people's food was stuck there. The ketchup was also the cheap version of All Gold. This means that a 4-star guest house does not usually offer such service and accommodation for its residents. I would definitely not recommend the guest house to anyone. The guest house board may need to take a few stars off. I am not impressed at all. For the amount we had to pay it was not worth it at all. I just wasted my money.
The stay was very comfortable with everything needed. Hendrik is a very good host and we had a nice meal at the restaurant.
We arrived late and had to struggle to gain access. Santai is near a shopping mall where there is a variety of restaurants to eat at. It is also in a quiet environment. Only annoyance was TV built into cupboard that was at the foot of bed. Bumped my feet against the cabinet several times at night.

Easily accessible, tidy, beautiful garden, very nice sleep over and enjoy a nice breakfast.
The facilities available were great would probably suggest that a minimum amount of cold beverages be available after hours especially for a business traveller. Enjoyed the size of the room and the cleanliness of the linen including the towels. the breakfast was awesome, the staff are shy but friendly.
The rooms are cold and dark. It's said that there's coffee facilities in the rooms, but there's no milk. The towels are small and there was no small towels. We weren't welcomed and the breakfast times differ than what's said on the website. We couldn't enjoy the breakfast we paid for, because the breakfast only stared at 08:00.
We had a good night's rest in this romantic room! The breakfast was delicious. We could also choose exactly what we wanted to eat!
I enjoyed staying there, it's a good place for a family outing.
After we checked in at 16:00 the afternoon, everybody left. There was no one to talk to. The doors were locked and the lights off. We needed towels and the WiFi password. Friday night the staff entertained friends and made a lot of noise. Saturday night was hell. We woke from the noise coming from the geyser at 01:00 in the morning and that continued the whole night. Sunday there was NO water and we had to fetch water from the swimming pool to flush the toilet with. No explanations or apologies were offered. At R1050 per night for a 4 star guest house, the service was awful.
