Satin and Roses Elegant Thatch is a self-catering apartment located on the host’s property, and is located in the country town of Howick. The property is the ideal base from which to visit the surrounding attractions in the area such as the Midlands Meander, golf courses and Midmar Dam.

The apartment features a private separate entrance, Trellis doors and a remote for access; the apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests and consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is air-conditioned and is furnished with a king-size bed, an in-room safe, a work desk, and features an en-suite bathroom with a bath, and the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Each room has extra pool towels, as well as normal towels and professionally laundered linen on the beds.

The well-equipped kitchen contains an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge with a purified water dispenser, and a separate water purifier. The comfortable lounge has a TV with full DStv channels; the TV has a back-up system to keep it on, in the event of electricity outages. The lounge leads out to the pool and braai area, with outside furniture and a Weber braai facility that guests have access to.

There is a light for evening braai time, which guests can use. Free fibre Wi-Fi access is available. There is a separate undercover parking area for 1 or 2 cars on the property, with CCTV footage and beams for safety.

The property is within close proximity to Hilton village, Hilton College, St. Annes and all boarding schools in the area. The property is also within close proximity to hospitals, and the Hilton Village with all stores and eateries.
