Room was very nice, exactly as in photos. We really enjoyed the cats and dogs, they have very good manners and are in their place, but so cute! Very nice stay. I would definitely recommend the place.
The place had everything we needed for our stay. Very neat room. Definitely a place I would visit again.

Was unpleasant. It was sad to see kids running around. They should stop. My son was moving the chair in the room and was told that if he didn't stop, the chair would be removed. It was my worst stay. Whenever we sat at the pool, kids were still playing and stuff had already been taken out of the pool and put back in its place. Your personal space was never respected; they were always around. And that, to me, was unpleasant. The owners were always around, and what annoyed me was that kids couldn't be themselves and enjoy. The WiFi was too much in our personal space, so I didn't enjoy my stay at all. Not worth 5200.
A great place for a restful stay alone or with a partner. Not geared up for kids, which is exactly what we wanted as we'd left ours behind. Rooms and pool are small but for 2 people it was adequate. Not fancy, but good value for money.
Our room was very nice with a nice big shower. The owners are very friendly, would definitely recommend the stay.

Constructive criticism, in our room there were no bedside tables with bedside lamps, which was rather inconvenient. There were also only vegetables and Ricoffy 3in1 to choose from. We called the host and asked if they might not have other coffee as well, to which he replied no.
The stairs are extremely stylish. We had two 80 year old people with us. They had great difficulty with the stairs.
Host and his wife together with the staff are very friendly, helpful, from reception to departure there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms and premises as a whole are absolutely neat and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and served with love.

Our daughter got married on Saturday in a small, intimate home ceremony due to Covid regulations. I could keep you busy for hours about how the arrangements had to change probably fifty times. Our stay at Sauvignon Country Lodge was delightfully peaceful. We fell into bed on Friday and Saturday night and slept wonderfully. One could just put one's feet in the air and relax. The breakfast was delicious and it's the tastiest natters I've eaten this season - fresh from the garden.

Bedding and towels old and washed out and uncomfortable thin mattress. No soap, sanitizers. Sleep in an attic room with very high and steep stairs. Guests must wash their own dishes upon departure or pay for them, leaving the incoming guests with precarious hygiene.
It was very clean and overall the area as well as place was nice.
Sauvignon Country Lodge is well located. The owners are extremely hospitable and serve the most delicious breakfasts. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a break in the Cape and wants to drive around to see different places.
