We are very "picky". This accommodation is the best we have stayed at. It's clean, spacious, tidy and everything works! Security also very good. All the necessary amenities were there, even an electric blanket! We felt very much at home. Will definitely stay there again. Wish they would expand with such facilities throughout the country!

On our arrival after a long drive from Knysna we were warmly received. The owner made sure we had everything and also had a nice chat with him. We immediately felt at home. The room, bathroom and facilities were super clean and tidy. My spouse and I would not want to stay anywhere else in Bloemfontein.
We were greeted immediately upon arrival and the bed was so comfortable.

We were so impressed, would definitely recommend Schnehage to anyone, there is secure parking and the place is perfect for a stopover on the way to your final destination. I forgot my laptop in the cupboard and realized much further that it was still in the cupboard. I asked Debbie to keep him safe for me and found him again on our way back to her place. The owner did not ask us in advance what time we would arrive. When we arrived at about 3 o'clock, she said that they would not open the gate until 5:30 as we had not informed them of our arrival time. So we just had to wait until that time and it was inconvenient. She emailed at about 12 o'clock to let us know that too. At that time we were still driving by car and did not have e-mail reception. Only in Bloemfontein were we able to see the message. It spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay.
Great host, motherly figure to her visitors. You get support whenever you need help and you are well taken care of as the place is so clean and beautiful.

This has so far been the best guest house in Bloemfontein that my husband and I have stayed at. We are always trying out a new guest house. There was always something that tingled or just wasn't nice until now. My husband says he will never sleep anywhere other than here again. It's value for your money through and through.
