On our 1st day of arrival we were greeted by Arrie, one of the workers, he was very helpful, considerate and thorough. The owners met us later that evening, and I don't think I've ever met nicer people. Thank you very much for the nice holiday there with you! We appreciate all the out-of-the-way effort!
An absolutely wonderful campsite, privately situated near a swimming area at the foot of a beautiful rocky mountain range. A well planned campsite, clean and in good order. Peaceful surroundings with an amazing display of the stars at night.
I had a nice time camping at Schoomgezicht with my husband and brother. Beautiful surroudings and peaceful. Won't be camping between Christmas and New Year again - we had noisy neighbours. Wat overall it was a nice experience!
Very friendly owners who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Will definitely go again!
We were highly dissatisfied with Schoongesizight's handling of our stay. We booked 6 months in advance and paid our full amount. When we arrived, they were building a campsite for us (with shade net and on gravel). Far removed from the photos on the website of green grass. Furthermore, there were pitches open on the grass with nice coolness, but we got the idea that they keep it open for friends. So we waited there from 13:00 to 15:30 and then drove. So we didn't sleep over. It was a shame that our first experience in the Cederberge had to end like this (before it had even started!) We will unfortunately be reluctant to book a place there again in the future.
