Schulteheim Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful garden full of rose trees. The antique furniture and paintings give you a feeling of staying in another era. Everything was nice and clean and we were kindly received by. Had a delicious farm breakfast.
We had a peaceful evening at Schulteheim Hotel. Reghardt is a real asset to the hotel - we were warmly welcomed with warm sheets that were already switched on so we wouldn't get cold, and made a reservation at the local restaurant for dinner. The bonus was that our dog was also welcome! We would definitely stay here again. It is also excellent value for money.
From our arrival we were impressed by the hospitality of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, even arranging a Toek-Toek ride with Dirkie Coetzee for us as well as booking a table for dinner at The Hungry Ghost, where we had a delicious meal. The sunny, spacious room had everything we needed and we also had a great shower. Very peaceful hotel environment. In the very nice and peaceful dining room we had a delicious breakfast the next morning. We recommend the stay at Schulteheim Hotel to any visitor to Uniondale.

We stopped at Schulteheim on our way to another destination. When we left the next morning, we intended to consider Schulteheim as a destination in the future as well, and not just a stopover option. We had a great stay, enjoyed the breakfast, were amazed at the safety both at the hotel and in Uniondale (we were even able to walk around town after dark, something that is no longer possible where we live), and really enjoyed the hospitality . He tells interesting stories, is a very pleasant individual, and is available with help and advice (without undermining our privacy). In many ways, he was the "ideal host" for us, which greatly contributed to our pleasant stay at the hotel. Thank you very much, and good luck with your business! We will visit again soon!

There was no problem with anything. I got there and stayed in a nice warm room where I slept well. The breakfast the next morning was as promised, a nice farm breakfast.

My father and I decided to sleep over on the way to our annual hunting trip in Middelburg. We were just looking for a safe place for the van, a nice dinner and a nice bed. Regardt's kindness and service made everything so much easier. He simply booked us a table at the Hungry Ghost where we also got very good service and decent plates of food. I would recommend the Schulteheim hotel to anyone.
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful old place. Rooms are massive and the antique furniture makes them very special. Breakfast was also very nice and included in the stay! Reghardt is an excellent host. Highly recommend. My husband stayed there a day before and he only arrived very late and was kindly received and a lot of effort was made for him. Lovely overnight stay. Rooms are large and very neat. Had a nice breakfast in the restaurant. The hotel's "old fashioned" feel adds to the experience. Reghardt was a great host and communicated well from start to finish and did everything to make our stay comfortable.
Was absolutely brilliant. Reggie kept in contact with us with regards to when we would arrive. Despite the load shedding our electric blankets were on and all the plugs and lights worked. He booked at a local restaurant for us for dinner which was great and we had the most delicious breakfast in the morning, despite being in the middle of load shedding again. Room was very big and had everything we needed.

The stay was comfortable, everything worked, there was an electric blanket on the bed, but no heater in the room. The host received us very kindly and the whole time made sure we were happy with our stay. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The hotel is definitely good value for money.

The hotel is an old building that has been neatly restored and where one expects to come across male visitors in neat suits and women in elegant, long dresses. Our room was spacious enough to accommodate 12 people. A comfortable couch in front of the TV would have been nice. The breakfast was something to remember.

We are on a motorcycle tour through the country. So far the best stay on our trip, pretty elegant, very comfortable. The genuine hospitality was a lovely surprise. The breakfast along with personal attention was just what we needed before we left on a long day ahead. Well done. This was one of the nicest places we slept on our tour. From the time we arrived until we drove off the service was fantastic. We were in Uniondale for a wedding and Schulteheim Hotel had a place for us all. We were not able to spend much of our time there ourselves, but the little time we were there, we were very satisfied. Service was good, people friendly, breakfast good, rooms big and clean. Would love to visit again.

Reghardt received us very kindly and was really helpful with a.o. restaurant reservations, the hotel has spacious rooms and well appointed bathrooms. It was a lovely visit.
The old residence has been stylishly restored with lots of character. The service was consistently excellent and the people friendly. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area and is an asset to the town's tourism industry. In the end, it's the little things that show they care about the guests and will keep people coming back again and again.

Schultenheim Hotel has an old-world charm that makes you feel like staying there. The hospitality of all the staff, but especially Reghardt, is unprecedented. My husband and I participated in a 230 km mountain bike race the next day and wanted to bring our own pasta and eat it while Schultenheim only offers breakfast. They accommodated us in every way and more. Even when we needlessly had to get breakfast early before the race. Large rooms, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. Definitely highly recommended.

We had a friendly reception. The room is big, spacious and creates a neat impression. Because it was an old cottage, there was no space to hang your clothes - there are shelves in the cupboards. It didn't bother us because we just slept there. The host even made a booking for us at a restaurant. After a warm and cosy night we were greeted with bird song the next morning. The breakfast was delicious and refreshing.
A very pleasant experience of friendly, personal service and exceptional accommodation and atmosphere. The hotel and rooms are something else and we had a great time relaxing and resting.
The rooms were good, TV bad, no bar for our thirsty throats, but we were referred to the Watermeul Restaurant for dinner, where there was one choice of beer. It would have been great to be able to enjoy an ice-cold beer or cocktails at the Schulteheim Hotel, since it is called a hotel, but this was not available. For that reason we would rather call it a B&B. Not bad for the price, clean and friendly staff was very helpful, on site parking in a peaceful surrounding section of town.

Reghardt welcomed us warmly with a cup of delicious cappucino. His recommendation of dinneer at Ou Meul was just perfect - divine food and just enough. Room was clean and cool. Spotless linen and towels. Delicious breakfast. We got some great rest and thoroughly enjoyed the Victorian atmosphere.
Our stay at Hotel Schulteheim was wonderful. It absolutely feels like you are visiting your own home but in a different county. Regardt is a fantastic person, hope people will support Uniondale and the Hotel. The service, food is top notch. Even though there is not much going on in the village. We went for a walk and saw the beautiful houses and their History. Many farms in the region to explore. Suggest taking some people there, and enjoy a weekend or so there. Support the heart of South Africa: Uniondale!

Great place to unwind. This hotel needs to be put on the map! Rigardt is just the friendliest and most accommodating guy and is trying very hard to get more guests.
A quiet and comfortable atmosphere in a historic and already beautiful place, which still needs restoration work in places. The personal service was great and the meals (dinner, breakfast) are delicious.
I am very grateful to Reynhardt for being so kind and hospitable, but the rooms were pathetic. No table to put anything on. The microwave was on an ottoman on the floor with cups and saucers on it. Also no mirror in rooms or bathroom. Only 1 bed had a decent duvet on it, the other only had a very thin blanket with a dirty line at the bottom of the bed. Luckily I had bedding in the van. I don't know what it looks like inside the hotel, but I don't know if I would want to stay there again. Sorry.
