Anytime again, we almost didn't want to come home.
Incredibly nice stay in the spacious, tastefully furnished house with wonderful beds and cuddly bedding. Both the braai fireplace and the small wood stove are used in the cold weather, and not even all the fine wood and fireplace wood used up. Received so hospitably and shown everything by friendly owners, spoiled with fruit, drinks, biscuits and filter coffee. We felt so special and will definitely visit here again!
We had a really nice stay. The house is very neat and had everything we needed and there is a lot of "attention to detail". Kitchen is fully equipped and there were plenty of warm blankets for the weekend's cold. The braai room is large with a beautiful view and the property is closed and therefore safe for small children to play outside. The service and communication was also excellent and we will definitely stay there again.
We were received very hospitably. The house is very well furnished, super neat and has the most beautiful view. The animal life makes it even more special. Renier and Frida made us feel very welcome and we can recommend the house to everyone and will certainly come here again.
Our teenage kids loved the place. It is clean, quiet and peaceful. It is within walking distance from the beach. There is a big and nice balcony/verandah with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, including a glimpse of the sea. The hosts, Renier and Caroline were on hand to meet us and they made us feel welcome into their home; they had fires going to warm up the house and for the braai which was thoughtful of them. If you are looking for a place to relax Sea and Valley is the place. The 10km (5 km each way) on the beach from Brenton-on-sea to Buffels Bay was a highlight for our family. We would also recommend a walk on the trails along the coast where you will experience breathing-taking views of the sea as well as the Brenton-on Sea suburb: there are benches along the way where you can sit and take in the views or just contemplate life.
Lovely, sunny house with large windows overlooking the valley and sea. Spectacular bird life. Friendly owners who go the extra mile. Beautiful pottery.
We took our 2 Boston Terriers and they loved the garden and barked at the bushbuck which visited for the bottom garden; the living area was good for braaing in door or outdoor and the bedrooms and bathrooms very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need and the hosts charming and helpful.
Very spacious and tidy house. Would recommend to anyone. Very well equipped with everything one could possibly need.
