Each of the units has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children, except for Beach House that can only accommodate 4 guests. Each of the units has an open-plan kitchen that is equipped with a 2-plate mini stove and oven, a microwave, fridge, as well as a washing machine. The lounges are all equipped with TVs with DStv, and opens onto a balcony or a private area with braai facilities, and views of the ocean. Mermaid's Cove also has a wooden deck that is exclusive for the use of that unit.
Parking is available on the premises behind an electronic gate, and parking is available for trailers. The caretaker lives on the premises and will be able to assist guests.
Please note that Sea La Vie is in a residential suburb and that there are other homes in the vicinity. Therefor guests are expected to act in an acceptable manner.

Yes, it was pleasant. If I were the owner, I would have left at least coffee and sugar in the kitchen for the guests.
Our stay was very pleasant. We had awesome weather, and the kids enjoyed the open space. The fact that we could move around easily was even better. The shops and everything were close by, which is also an added benefit. The only thing is that there were quite a few ants, but that did not put a damper on our holiday.
Beautiful and big enough, and we were in the smallest unit. 10/10.

It was a lovely and pleasant stay. There were a few things to improve: only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided. I understand it's self-catering, but I am sure more could have been provided. There were no chopping boards, which means we needed to cut on a plate. The housekeeper allowed her dogs onto the grass where we stayed while we were out, which was fine except we always came home to 5 poos, which wasn't lovely given we have a toddler. We took our dog but are fastidious about picking up her poo, and so it was frustrating we needed to pick up other dogs' poos after we had picked up ours. In saying all of that, we really enjoyed it there, would recommend it, and had a lovely stay.
We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was value for money. Would have just preferred a king bed.

Spacious rooms with sea view, but parking is steep and very limited, especially if you drive an SUV. There is also no direct access to the sea. Advertisements are a bit misleading.
I love the caretaker, she is a beautiful person with a beautiful heart, hospitable, and ready to help.

Accommodation is beautiful and clean. Nice, quiet area with the beach 300 meters from accommodation. Apartment can accommodate 4 people. All facilities and equipment were there. And then also a beautiful view of the sea and beach. Caretaker also very helpful and friendly. Edge for edge it is worth the effort. I can really recommend it.

They offer everything you need so next time I don't even need hair dryers etc. not to pack. It's very neat and clean. We enjoyed nice walks as at least it is safe enough to go for walkies. It's close to shops and restaurants and has a nice sea view. We will definitely go back again.
