We had a great time.
You can't get any closer to the sea. It is a very nice place to call home. Everything in the pictures is exactly what you get. Highly recommendable.

I am not happy. Will not go there again.
The kitchen facilities are very. Limited and everything is locked. If you need something, you need to find a staff member to come and unlock for you. Not great at all. Upside is there are amazing resturants in a 7 km radius! Even though Wi-Fi is advertised, we had no signal in the room. All in all, will definitely go back! The view and everything else make up for any "minor inconvenience".
Small, safe beach right in front of the complex.
Fantastic and very quiet and peaceful by the sea. In the evenings you fall asleep to the soothing sound of the sea and the waves. It's a perfect holiday spot in the hot summer season, where you have the sea on your doorstep.
The accommodation is neat and by the sea. Pierre and his staff are wonderful. Helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious.
We had an amazing stay. Staff were friendly and warm hearted. The views were scenic and all we had hoped for. It's the windy city, but who minds the indoors with your partner! We highly recommend it.
The price after a discount was reasonable, although still fairly expensive for SA travellers. You pay for the location I guess! I missed yogurt and muesli at breakfast as well as a fruit or two. The food was well prepared and more than enough!
It is a very nice place with a beautiful view of the sea. There is a small beach on their front porch. All that was not nice is the water pressure in the shower.
What more can you ask for? Everything is very neat and staff was helpful with everything.
We had a great stay, Miriam is a real gem for the place, so friendly and chatty, makes you feel right at home!

Kini Bay is incredibly beautiful and a peaceful environment if you want to experience the sea's calm. Sea Otters Lodge is perfectly located and the staff and owner are extremely hospitable. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Very hospitable and tidy. I would recommend it to anyone, even if just for a long weekend.
The room is clean and tidy thanks for the white linen, but for R1250/night you at least expect shampoo, clean windows to see the "sea view" you pay for, full DStv selection and filter coffee. The hair dryer is so sticky that the 100 previous people's hair spray paints the handle black on your hand... The rest of the inside of the lodge is very "tatty" and tasteless. Stayed there for two nights. No owner in sight! Miriam was the star of the place!
The place is breathtaking.
It was great to be there. It's a nice venue with friendly staff. I wouldn't mind visiting again. I would definitely recommend the place to my friends and family.
They were extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating to an extended family party and really went out of their way to make life easier for the parents of a month old baby. The food was very good,the location is very good if you want a quiet visit away from the bright lights and the sea views are superb.

House Rules
- Served English breakfast is available during your stay on request at an additional fee. These need to be ordered at least one day prior to the day of arrival in advance. This service is subject to availability.
- An additional single sleeper couch can be added in some of the rooms, on request and at an additional fee. A maximum of one sleeper couch is allowed per room for a maximum of one child under the age of 13 and is subject to availability due to the limited number of single sleeper couches available. Any person 13 years and older making use of the additional single sleeper couch does so entirely at their own risk. No sleeper couch allowed in Paradise En Suite room situated on 1st-floor level.
- Children under the age of 3 at an additional cost per night SQ. A sleeping cot will be made available in the room, subject to availability. No children U/3 allowed in rooms situated on 1st-floor level
- It is advisable to check in from 2 pm but before 6:30 pm at your earliest convenience as reception closes at 7 pm and there is no staff on duty from 7 pm. No late check in allowed after 7 pm
- Check-out is at 10 am on day of departure. No late room departures will be allowed after 10:30 am. Late room check-out / departure fees are applicable from 10:31 onwards on day of departure SQ.
- Free Wi-Fi is provided to overnight guests. Fair usage is applicable.
- Guests have access to Weber braai facilities by prior arrangement and confirmation only. Guest need to supply their own food, briquettes/charcoal and firelighters. The Weber braais are subject to availability. Our staff works intermittent hours and are not always available, should a guest like to have a braai on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, prior arrangement must be made before 12 pm on the Friday for our staff to get everything out and ready for your braai, for a braai during the week (Monday – Thursday) prior arrangement must be made at least the day before – Regretfully we will not be able to assist/help any late requests for a braai. Only briquettes and/or charcoal are allowed to be used in weber braais.
- We regret that no smoking is allowed inside the Guest House and bedrooms. Smokers are more than welcome to smoke in the outside areas and Gazebo of the guest house. Should a guest not abide to these terms, the guest will, unfortunately, be held liable to a R750 room refreshing fee payable for additional cleaning and freshening of the room.
- No day visitors are allowed. Guests are not allowed to invite family, friends, acquaintances and/or visitors over for a visit and/or braai, no exceptions. Onsite facilities for exclusive enjoyment of guests of Sea Otters Lodge and the owners.
- Rooms are sanitized with C-19 Room Guard before guest arrivals and after guest departures.
- Guide dogs are only allowed in Tropical and Harbour rooms on the ground floor level and only by arrangement.

All rooms come equipped with comfortable beds, an en-suite bathroom, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, TV, DStv, and a ceiling fan.
A room sleeps up to a maximum of 2 adults and in some rooms, a single sleeper couch for 1 child under 13 or a cot for a child under 2 may be added in the same room, subject to availability.
Guide dogs are allowed in certain rooms.
The lodge features a communal dining area, a lounge, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven, fridge, and freezer situated on each floor level. Crockery and cutlery are available on request.
Guests have access to Weber braai facilities subject to prior arrangement and confirmation only.
The lodge also offers a function, wedding, or party venue for up to a maximum of 48 persons with various delectable buffet packages and menus to choose from.
The conference facilities seat up to a maximum of 28 persons per event, banquet style only.
